    For anyone who is considering these tools. I highly suggest trying them, pick one you will use all the time and give it a shot. They aren't expensive for a power tool line. I own the 3/8 impact 12v, the 12v screw gun, and the 12v drill. I use the screw gun and impact on a daily basis for nearly 4 years as a dealer technician. I own snap on power tools as well. I would honestly say for what I use both the snap on 3/8 and Hercules 3/8 for. They are of the same quality for a new tech in the field or a DIYer. They are fantastic entry tools into any field to get on your feet and start earning money. These tool have paid for them selves time over time already.

    Great collection, looks similar to mine, I actually love this brand I've been building my collection for about 5 years now, everything but my 12v stuff I've had more than a year my drill and impact 5 years now and they have never let me down and I use it almost daily I don't notice a huge difference between the power of other tool brands but the batteries I love. Me and my father in law did a comparison of a new Dewalt impact and my old hercules impact along with my 5 year old battery and he went through almost 2 batteries before I went through 1. Anyone looking into this brand give it a try I love it and it definitely gets the job done witch is all that matters at the end of the day. And preference just buy what you like. I only bought into it cause I wanted to be different and did not want to go with crowd ended up loving the brand

      @@toolsonabudget7763 right now I’m debating over that electric ratchet and the durofix electric ratchet, love the triggers on both and they aren’t that expensive with a battery and charger but the downside on the durofix is that it has a bulky head, and the downside on the Hercules is that my local HF doesn’t have it in stock 🥲😂

    I’d like to see Harbor Freight stick to one battery platform for all their tools. A few years ago I spend more time that i care to admit, selecting a platform to invest in. I choose Makita because of their expansive line. Recently I’ve expanded into Ryobi but got a battery adapter to work with my Makita batts. If Freight did one big line that covers everything, they’ve got a winner.

    • @toolsonabudget7763

      They do multiple lines so they can have entries at different price points kinda how home depot does ryobi ridgid and milwaukee

    • @JBPlaysGames1
      @JBPlaysGames1 2 ปีที่แล้ว +7

      @@toolsonabudget7763 Yeah, but if they're all in house brands, they could still have varying levels of tools, with the same batteries. They just do it so they can sell more batteries and such, and in the case of some of the tools, seemingly sell the same tool in different colors with different batteries (and a higher price on the Herc) as both a Bauer, and a Hercules (I.E their recip saws). Just have like Bauer and Bauer PRO or something and run one battery platform.

      @@toolsonabudget7763 Yes but those are all sold almost everywhere, so its a bit of a different animal but I see your point. Where as TTI makes all those different brands and sells them to stores. I think they should do something along those lines too, but this being the fact that its literally HF having those tools made specifically for them, they could do something like that rather than have all these different brands. At least with those other brands they have low end tools, and high end tools, where as at HF if you wanna get nicer tools for some stuff and cheaper tools for other stuff you need two totally different battery platforms. You see what I mean? Like I can buy M18 Fuel tools for stuff I will use a lot, and maybe stuff I wont use as much I can buy cheaper M18 brushed stuff. Where as with HF, I would have to buy into the Bauer or Warrior battery platforms if I wanted a cheaper lower end alternative.

    got some 20V drills because after some discounts the tools, batteries, and charger ended up being less than other options, less than their bauer brand would have been even that is the lower end stuff. was thinking about maybe getting a sawzall or angle grinder, would have preferred angle grinder since it would be more useful for me, but for some reason the hercules cutting tools are really expensive and since I don't cut things that often I opted to just not buy anything

    I believe that you mentioned this in the review, but, will the 3/8" impact wrench 20V work for lug nuts? I'm specifically looking to get one for changing/rotating tires and want something that'll break the lugs loose. (I torque everything to 100ft-lbs). I was hoping to get the 1/2" impact wrench, but it's nearly impossible to find one in a store near me (or even within a hour driving distance).

    I have the hammer drill and it's amazing. Because I had the battery I picked up the heat gun. The cordless heat gun is garbage. You can't lock it on, it only works with the trigger pulled, so you have to hold it while it heats up.
