Thank you, everyone, for your comments about the church situation! I had read some inaccurate information online (several times actually) that all churches were destroyed during communism. It turns out that is not true. Most churches were not destroyed, but religion was banned.

You actually were right many and I mean many churches were totally destroyed from the inside. An example is a 900 years old church in my village where the affrescos were totally covered with concrete during comunism. Those who are telling you no church was ever destroyed are lying. Cheers

the first church is older than the one on top of mountain, both after 1990. Korçe region has some of the oldest and most beautiful churches in all of the Balkans, some dating back to 10th to 13th century...Some churches in Albania rank among the oldest in the world 4th century even earlier

Yes, the big orthodox cathedral in Korcas center as well as that in Beratis center are built by greeks who instead of restoring our traditional churches in their old original characteristic architecture.rebuilt them in greek manner for pure political and natiomalistic purpose.
Until today there arr very old orthodox churches im degration that nobody cares about because they a threat for the greek cause in south Albania.

I am afraid you understood something wrong. Religious temples were only demolished in a few cases. They were mostly modified from inside and used as city halls, sport centres, warehouses or for similar purposes in public life. Communism also had an impact on other aspects such as tearing down older city parts only to construct buildings in a Brustalist style (for instance the Tirana Bazaar war torn down unfortunately).
Other than that, I really enjoyed your video, especially your amazing drone shots :)

Barbarians had no limits and only few weak voices amomg them reacted and explained for the godless ignorants that it was our common cultural heritage of world class they were destroying.

Actualy the curch in the Morava Mountain was built around the time period of 2016,the cathedrial was build around the 1990 and was opened in the 2000 and it is not the oldest nor the biggest church in Albania. The mosque that you visited is called Iljaz Mirahoris Mosque and it has been the center of the town for ages. You might wander why and the answer is realy simple. Before the mosque there was a Church and during the otoman empire the Bej of Korça destroyed the church and decided to build a mosque instead. Korça is called Little Paris because of a song type called Serenata (SERENADE)which are played by guitarists (popular in Spain) which are considered to be the anthem of love and passion, the second reason is because of the marble streets that presented a high level of intelectuality and social class royalty . During the years of the Albanian Kingdom Korça was the most beautiful and advanced city in all of the ballkans, equiped with a lot of love, passion, style, dignity, culture and very, trust me very rich and intelectual people.

Hi, I'm an Albanian vegan, sadly not living there, but I was curious to ask, how was your experience as a vegan in Albania? I moved out before I went vegan, but I'm really curious how being vegan can alter the experience of visiting a country that is very foreign to such an idea. Thanks :)

04:30 to 05:00 is a good example of flow for talking speed for your videos, I think. You start spitting out syllables so fast in some parts of your videos I feel you might be just the person who could win the world's fastest rapper or talker for Guinness Records. 😄. My little sister was like this in high school but at the end of the sentence she ALWAYS ended it with, "so, yeah". That was over thirty years ago and even you ended sentences like this. LMAO. "Please, slow down". I'd tell her. She'd laugh but ten minutes later....bipbipbipbipbipbip words like a machine gun 😄
It's good that Albanians feel free to help you cover their country correctly. It's a sign of welcoming gesture. They actually behave more western than most westerners these days...if that makes sense. They are independent thinkers, like yourself. Brave little chick you are traveling by yourself. So cute too. 👍. Be careful, okay? Ciao.
