- This is a full Route Visual of TFL London Bus Route 217 between Turnpike Lane Station and Waltham Cross. Operated by Sullivan Buses from South Mimms Bus Garage, (previously Metroline from Potters Bar). This visual was in fact filmed for Sullivans who will use the full length versions (in each direction) to help aid driver training for the upcoming win! Operated using ADL Enviro400 City Diesel buses with start-stop technology.
Normal speed versions of both these videos have been produced for Sullivan Buses to aid Driver Training. A huge thank you goes to Dean Sullivan, who supplied the cover photo, who also organised this as well as Ian Armstrong (londonbuses.co.uk).

Nice video
thanks
This was filmed when 217 was metroline!! YYAAAYY!!
No it wasnt
Greener London
It’s Sullivan
The only problem I find about the 217 is that the waiting times utterly poop (if it's going towards Waltham Cross)
I knew there was a story behind the unique number plates of Sullivan's buses
Yeah
SB stands for Sullivans buses
DS stands for Dean Sullivan
And then SUL at the end of the number plate stands for Sullivan :)
Going To Waltham Cross Tomorrow for the last day of metroline operation.
nice
Only came back a few hours ago, got affected by the manor park flood, my bus was filled and people stood upstairs. Any way I got good thrash.

@@CookieCft It’s been 3 years since I put this commet time really flies
And thank you
this was metroline
I see a metroline bus on the 217
Do you have the full version in real time?? Thanks
London traveller yes I do
Is it uploaded on here??
London traveller not yet
Am going trampoline park and I need to take a 217
HeatherAtamba is it 'Jumpin
You could take the 231
oh i’ve been there too
Could take a 377
217 is just an horrible route that goes to a road called Great Cambridge Road and stays here under 45 minutes so does 231
londonbuses1999 excuse me do you know about the 191, it goes to its terminus twice (Brimsdown) and it is super long although it can just go via the 279 route
I use the 217 occasionally and its most useful !
I'm not trying to be mean or anything but a bus route goes most of Great Cambridge Rd is not a big problem. The 217 and 317 is the best route to get to Carterhatch from Southbury Road. Do not take the 191 because it takes a long time to get to Carterhatch from Southbury.
Went on this yesterday.. Worst ROute ever
The only problem I find about the 217 is that the waiting is utterly poop when you're waiting for it going towards Waltham Cross.
