Thanks for doing this. This is the 3rd album they did as a concept/story line series. It’s about being trapped inside your own mind and everything that entails. Quite depressing and liberating. Would love for you to do more ToP reviews. As someone that is bipolar I relate to their music and lyrics deeply.
4th album...at least (vessel, regional at best, and self-titled are arguably a part of it as well)

Twenty One Pilots are awesome. May want to check out some of their older stuff, Blurryface, Migraine, Car Radio, etc...kinda like Tom because they can be a rabbit hole.
Car Radio, Lane Boy, and Ode To Sleep are great songs to get a feel for their vibe. If you want to stick with the videos that go with this storyline and lead up to this one, start with HeavyDirtySoul, then Jumpsuit, Nico & the Niners, and Levitate.
A bit late to the party with this story line -- but you can catch up. The new album, the last one in the lore/story line that has been going on for years and albums, drops in May. You won't want to miss out. The band put out a quick recap of some of the lore that would help you understand this video called "I am Clancy." I recommend it highly, even if you don't do a reaction to it to get started.

You've come to the edge of a deep rabbit hole. That structure on the projector is DEMA. The album that is about to drop in May is supposed to wrap up a long story played out over many years, many songs and several albums. That being said, you don't have to know about any of that to enjoy their songs. If you truly want to take a deep dive I suggest you make reaction vids as you experience their older songs. I found you because your video was related to Twenty One Pilots and others will as well. Anyway, hope you take the dive into the rabbit hole. BTW, You cannot fit their music into a genre.

gave me the low down on where to start with the narrative that is carried on in their music. There is a whole story, a whole world to around these songs. Start with these albums and then look at her link below, she explains the eye color at the end of the music video and the red tape but you'll understand better and know the characters once you know those previous albums.
"Blurryface, then Trench, and then Scaled and Icy as those are the albums that are confirmed to be a part of the lore.
Watching the "Twenty One Pilots - The Story" playlist on the band's channel shows what events in the story have been confirmed to be canon so far and in what order they go.
It is speculared that the the albums before Blurryface also relate to the lore, however, there aren't as many strong connections
and it's more metaphorical in Self-Titled and Vessel."
