Nice to see the little helper! Just wanted to wish you and yours a happy and healthy 2023! I'm still living in hospital with our youngest who is battling cancer so haven't been active on YT since August other than updates but hope to be back doing what I love more next year and I'm slowly getting round you all now I can enjoy viewing now things are a bit calmer here and less machines beeping etc. So just wanted to let you know that I haven't forgotten you, in fact I have missed that calming voice! Shame that lampshade broke😬 with regards to all that cardboard, when my life takes a different turn and I have the rare thing of time, I've got plans for recycled cardboard 🙂👍 Have a good one thub and thank you for all your amazing hard work and planet saving!!
Your videos have inspired me to look for metals and usable materials in unlikely places. This afternoon - I was dumpster diving and came across a dumpster full of unopened items. Brand New in the trash. I can’t believe how wasteful some companies can be. Oh and I’m selling the stuff for sure.
At 17:05 when you said "We got a little bit of metal in there" right after you made a Yoda noise and I laughed so hard! Thanks for another great video Thub.
Thank You for all the entertainment, always makes days special. Happy New Year to you and the Family and stay healthy and will will see you again in 2023. Cheers from Dublin, Ireland.💯👍🙏☘☘☘☘☘
Oh vacuum motors are just kind of annoying to pick out imo. A couple good whacks with a hammer would probably get er done pretty quickly but I couldn’t find the good scrap hammer when I left for the afternoon
Hi, from down under, wish you and your family a very happy New Year in 2023. About those fluo-light balance's they have copper inside them, that why the light frame are heavy, (bust one open n see). Cheers Pete (Australia).
I can't believe you left the shop vac and only took the cord. you can take a shop vac apart in 10 minutes with a screw gun and have the nice copper coil and comutator
wish i was scrapping younger, that plug is brass you pinch it close with them cutters and twist you could pull it right out the wire. even the piece you throw back it could go in with christimas wire. we got the bottle machine like day care in the bronx
Hay thumbprint you should do a video on taking apart ballasts. Not that hard to take apart. All you have to do is open them up hit the tar off over a garbage bin and hit the little clips off of the ends that hold it together and it should all fall apart. Make where though it says no PCB’s. Would be cool
Great Video Sir ! Nice Copilot Helper man. Happy New Years @thubprint 👏🏼👀✅ My Brother just got me the STRIPMEISTER for Xmas. Definitely making some Videos with that Soon man. You’re my Favorite “ScrapGod” 😁 Plus you Watched & Commented on my Tire Video 🛻🗑️💪🏼🛞 Good Score. Yeah Yards are Closed in Baltimore Until Tuesday Sir. Keep Up the Great Work 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼🤩
Well brother seeing it was brass maybe you should smashed in skip kept brass about kilo 6 dollars awesome channel I just discovered it may I suggest head lamp I want to see in the skip kind regards happy new year
That copper coated mig welding wire is deceiving at first. Aluminum coils in transformers, you can't win for trying. Atleast you are keeping busy. The "Kitchy lighting fixture" no big value that I know of ,just intrinsic value if you like ugly seventies light fixtures like I do.😁
That lamp could have sold for $9.99.. or a billion as we all know it comes down to finding the right person what never happens lol. My real guess you would have had it in your garage for a year would have never moved.
Hey dude i was wondering if there is a way to have a small text convo with you. Maybe over dicord or somewhere other? I am based in Switzerland and I'm really interested in scrapping and recycling.
I love to go out looking for scrap, but I would never go behind any fence line like you did, even if it does look like scrap. It could be their scrap they are saving, or items they had dropped off, using ect.

I grab cast-off scratchers when I see them, too. I won $20 from one once, $5 from another, and $1 a number of times over the years.

Why did you just cut the cable and leave the motor of the vac untouched? You and your loved ones have a nice 2023🥂🍾

I really enjoy your videos but sometimes I get a little frustrated because you sure do leave a lot of metal behind.
