Prepping for your Pet - Do you know how much food you have vs. how much food you need?

How much food do you have in reserve for your pet?
Do you know how long your food supply lasts or do you just go and get more when you're out?
Start by writing the date on your purchases so you can track what pets normal consumption is. The 44 pound bag in the video lasted 3 months. We use a can of wet food a day; 1/2 can in the morning & 1/2 can in the evening, both mixed with a 1/4 cup of dry. And he can graze all day on the dry.
If you order your pet food, you can budget better for your pet expenses.
I order 3 cases (12 cans in a case) every month. This way, every month I'm slowly building a surplus of +/- 6 cans of food. A10 pound box of dog treats last a month.
By knowing what we use, we know we are planned out for at least a month, maybe more.
PS. My dogs name is Flubber (like the movies.)

Absolutely remember your pets' needs in your prepper supplies! Food, water, medication, etc. Great reminder.
