Oh man wish I knew about filament before, had to spent some 2 months building a admin panel from scratch this would have really helped, no worries will definitely use it for future projects
This is a great tutorial. Please how do I calculate the age from date of birth in laravel filament? I have a project in laravel filament where there is a field to input date of birth in want to be able to calculate age automatically when the date of birth is entered. At the moment, I can only enter the date of birth and the age manually which I think it is not professional. Also, I want the color of the age to automatically change if the person reaches his/her birthday. Kindly help me
@@1337kaas thanks so much. Now my problem is how to install filament 3. I followed the documentation and set my composer to minimum stability to dev as according to the documentation. But the installation keeps on failing. They said the installation failed and the composer locked to its regional content.
@@jijirijohnson3453 I had the same issue on an existing project. Remove live wire as dependency and require again. Live wire 3 will be installed as a dependency of filament 3

Filament does a great job providing widgets! Trying to figure out how to display a widget to non-admins. Any ideas?
In Filament v3, widgets (like charts and stats) are available outside of the admin panel
Is it possible to add custom title for the pages (list, edit, etc) ?. I mean is it possible to change "Patients" to "Data Patients" ?
