I recently bought three pairs of faux leather jeans (highrise, straight-leg) from Abercrombie & Fitch, dark brown, tan, black. I also sized down. I love them. I have been wearing them every day (almost) during these holidays. I've been wearing faux leather for years, starting with my Spanx pieces a few years back. Of course, I wear actual leather as well, all vintage pieces that I have collected since the 80s. Some I have had altered/updated. But most work perfectly.
Great outfits. Just a thought....if you size down for those black booties so that the toe fits better they are gonna probably even more difficult to remove. Maybe when they are worn a few times it will help. BTW, love the white coat and booties with the pants. I love black but the white is very soft and pretty.
