Wow watching this video made my decision so much harder lol. They both look better than I thought they would after having them for so long! Def worth the splurge. I've been eyeing the azur for months, but now that it's about to be fall and I want it as a work/travel bag I'm torn on which one is a better choice! I'm just worried about the wear and tear on the azur, and the ebene looks new for years!
They’re both great work/travel bags but you definitely have to be more cautious with the azur. I love mine and would definitely consider buying another azur with the pink interior 😍😍
How do you care for your damier azur bag? How do clean it or protect the canvas? Do you use products? Im planning to get a neverfull azur but im scared of the wear and tear of the azur.
I use a baby wipe and just wipe it down at the end of the day. I use that for both of my bags and try to be careful with the azur so it doesn’t get stained. I have seen products you can get but I’ve personally never used them.
You can speak with a Louis Vuitton employee if you ever go to their store & have them give you tips & tricks. I believe there are also certain products you can use on them as the original poster said as well. When I went to Louis Vuitton to look for a neverfull myself, I couldn't decide which one I wanted. I have a friend who owns the Damier Azur mm neverfull but when I spoke to an employee, they told me they only suggest that bag for if it's something you're not going to use as an every day bag. They recommended either the monogram neverfull or the damier ebene as the canvasas are easier to take care of it & you can't tell if they get stained or dirty. The damier azur can get color transfer from your shirt, blue jeans, the sun, etc. so it's definitely a high maintenance bag versus the treated leather & the canvas never losing its shape for the ebene canvas. The monogram I feel is kind of the best of both worlds, which is what I ended up going with. I'm too careless with my handbags & they get dirty, used & worn so I needed something where I can sling it over my shoulder & not worry about what shirt I'm wearing, etc. plus, I like the leather look of the handles (although they will eventually patina over time). You can always ask someone who works there if you ever go into one of their stores. I visited the one in Austin, TX & they were super helpful & gave me their honest feedback which helped me pick out my dream bag!! p.s. My friend who owns the damier azur says she has problems keeping the shape of her bag so if you do go with one, get an organizer!! Helps keep the interior clean as well as helps the bag keeps its shape. I have one & have been using my bag for a month & it's kept its shape so far & looks great!! She also has color transfer on hers from wearing a jean jacket with it & not knowing it would transfer!
@@StaceyABarr I've tried Apple Brand rain and stain spray to protect the vachetta. There are youtuber's videos that demos how to spray it on the bags. It makes it more carefree for LV untreated leather and I believe helps vachetta from darkening faster 🤗😍
Beautiful! I've always wanted an LV bag. It's trying to convince my hubby to get it for my 50th bday!! I'm leaning towards the Ebene. Do you find the straps staying on your shoulders OK? I've had bags where one always falls off. Is there any cracks in the the canvas? That's amazing how well they've held up. Thanks for sharing
Thank you! There are no cracks on the canvas. It’s beautiful and durable. The straps do stay on my shoulders but if you carry something heavy or stuff it with laptop etc, it does dig a little bit into your shoulders. Overall though it’s a great bag! It would be an amazing birthday present!! Truly will last you forever.
Hi, in all honesty no I won’t. I got both of these bags years ago and with the way LV is raising their prices , I won’t be getting another neverfull. Butttt I would consider other bags.
I was in Turkey recently and had a empriente multi pouchette with me. They show me a HIDUPZ bag and it looked just like it.
