My son & I were right across from you … awesome to see some of the same footage we recorded from your perspective… think I could see my arms in a couple of your shots. Such a great show! Thanks for sharing!!
I was there! this was definitely the best concert I've been to by a long shot. the flames when they played fuel, ending with master of puppets, playing some GREAT tracks, it was a great night.
Thank you so much for this! I was at the show running around the general admission floor following the action having a blast, super cool to get snippets of all the songs from the same concert in decent quality from the other side of the ring!
GA is definitely cheaper and could land you on the rail. Pick a great spot (James area when off stage) and you can get some major close interaction with him in between songs. There will be a gap between rail and stage. Snakepit allows you to actually touch the stage if you get a nice spot. Very strong interaction occasionally during songs. Best chance to see James up close and land a hi-5 would probably be GA and getting a railing spot near his dedicated area. Check out TH-cam and type in “James Hetfield cigar” and you’ll get an idea. Best of luck to you!
@@jimmyvanzeno Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to compare the sound of the snake pit with the sound in G.A. or in seats. I have a feeling there is some sacrifice of sound while being in the snake pit. I did notice at one point when I stood in the middle of the snake pit, the sound was thicker. The two heaviest and loudest Metallica shows I’ve been to were Minneapolis in 2016 and Detroit (snake pit) in 2017. The power and sound intensity at those shows was unbelievable!
Have to ask…were there any mosh pits in the snake pit? Last few shows I’ve been weary of buying those tickets in case the crowd was more of a banging their heads in their spot type of crowd. I like to hang out and enjoy the music, but also love to jump in the pit and party with some newfound friends!😆
@@Big_Jake-HTX definitely more bang your head in your spot rather than mosh. If you like moshing (this used to be me!), I suggest regular general admission tickets.
@@Michael-qd6cp appreciate the insight. This past weekend was my 4th time seeing them on this tour, and I think one of the coolest aspects of Metallica is the diversity of their fan base. I see kids all the way up to people in their 60’s and 70’s in the crowd. I figured with the higher price point of the snake pit that you would likely find an older group with a more casual experience. They were expensive but honestly, compared to what some people were paying last minute for tickets, it could have been worse. When I saw them in St. Louis in November it was a free upgrade through the Metallica Club. I got lucky then!
@@Michael-qd6cp I’ve seen them on almost every tour since the Justice tour but not this recent one. Seen them at 2 small clubs One in Cleveland Ohio and the other Toronto Canada.
