    DJ is giving away the plays all game long…slow rolls it off the line if he is not the hot target, stagnant if it is a run away from him.

    @Chase Daniel Please, please do a rep or two in slow motion, especially when showing how route concepts interact. I learn a lot from the way you explain things but my brain is too small to take in that many details at full speed.

    Chase, the last play was 3rd down... if the pass was completed with 12 seconds left, he could not clock it on 4th down... bottom line, Flus should have called the timeout... He hadn't given Caleb that authority... if you listen to Caleb's post game interview, he said he couldn't call timeout, that maybe later in his career, he would be able to.

    • @TOKSVISIONZ
      @TOKSVISIONZ 7 วันที่ผ่านมา

      No, they would have called timeout and then gone for the field goal.

    • @dieusonmalcomson7335
      @dieusonmalcomson7335 6 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      If you blame Caleb for not calling the timeout then you also have to blame the other 10 guys on the field also not just the rookie quarterback. It wasn’t any of their first games either.

    • @patrickoconnor414
      @patrickoconnor414 5 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @@dieusonmalcomson7335 The refs only acknowledge the head coach and the QB when calling timeouts. If you listened to Caleb post game, you would understand that as a rookie, he can't call that timeout yet. That is determined by the head coach. That's why he made reference to the fact that he would be able to later in his career.

      He takes at least 3.5 quarters to score 80% of the games. But you blame the defense who on the field and the coach who playing prevent defense to stop big plays . Because we’re always playing from behind and can’t afford to be aggressive unless we want to get blown out. His deep ball inaccurate and he horrible in redzone . Those are facts. He gets garbage time stats too little too late.

      It actually was a good ball. Rome just had his head and eyes on the wrong side. He is acting like he is expecting a seam ball down the middle but Caleb is throwing him a post route over the shoulder which Rome’s route and run angle would agree with. • @StewMain6

    In hindsight, we have to be glad this game ended the way it did as it helped the Bears shed themselves of a lame duck HC. You could say the Bears don’t do anything to Flus if the team got blown out by the Lions. I mean, Vegas thought that would be the case. But to lose is a close game due to time running out with a timeout to use is just beyond embarrassing and one of the biggest coaching game management blunders of all time. And instead of taking accountability, he said he “liked what we did there”. What a joke

  • @Portuducks

    The Bears receiver corps lacks a speed demon who can blow the top off of defenses. All three guys are possession receivers. Brian Thomas Jr would've been a better fit instead of Odunze, but Poles went the safe route like he did with Wright over Jalen Carter.

    • @jjc5407
      @jjc5407 8 วันที่ผ่านมา +5

      Actually last year Fields started well and got steadily worse as the games progressed to the point where his 4th quarter passer rating was abysmal. His ratings by quarter were:
      Q1: 112.2
      Q2: 91.4
      Q3: 89.5
      Q4: 53.4
      Williams seem to be the opposite, struggling early and then balling out in the 4th quarter. His ratings by quarter are:
      Q1: 83.7
      Q2: 81.8
      Q3: 75.7
      Q4: 98.8
      The stark difference is how the two performed in close games when games were within 7 points in the 4th quarter:
      Fields: 36.4
      Williams: 86.9

    It was my understanding that the play came in really late, Williams didn’t get the TO from the sideline, didn’t have time to hit a cross, gather up and clock it so he changed it and went for the deep ball. Had the TO came in when it should have, they would have and should have had the time to get some more yards, clock it and kick the FG. Glad that clown Flus is gone!

    Caleb is thriving. What I want to know is which coach gets fired next week if the Bears lose? Eberfluse had the team gutted, then He had to play DC and HC last year. this year, He gets a new OC during the season, still no O line, and a new QB. This was not His fault. He got fired because Jaylen Johnson cried about winning since Pop Warner and hasn’t won in 5 years. This is why the Bears can’t get it right. It all started when they fired Lovie Smith after a 10-6 season. Who does that?!?! This team needs 3 years to build. In My view, these sudden drastic changes are nothing more than bandaging up bad decisions. When Hallas decided that He wanted to change the bad culture the Bears had between 1964 and 1972, it took him 11 years to change it. The Bears culture has been bad since Lovie left. It’s getting really stupid now.

      Not his fault? Hes had 3 years now, and no one saw how bad of a coach he was because Bears were never competitive in the first 2 years. Shane Waldron was Eberflus's hire. Ask Flus why he let Waldron change up the run block and pass protection schemes. The OL has been MUCH better since Brown took over. You are clueless if you think Flus got fired because JJ went off on him.
