I don't think they were traitors or turned to chaos because the other primarchs remember them fondly and not as traitors. I think the reason the emperor purged their memory from the Imperium is the same reason that Turkey and Japan deny war crimes which is to avoid national shame and sadness which the truth would cause. Plus if they did turn to Chaos then the emperor would probably mind wipe the other primarchs using his psychic powers but they still remember the 2nd and 11th Primarchs so I don't think Chaos was a factor in their erasure from Imperial Records.

Hey Majorkill the mere fact the Emperor can now turn normal humans into Daemon Princes or as they are also called Living Saints such as Saint Celestine who we know from the Siege of Cadia during the 13th Black Crusade of Failbaddon the Armless, Cawl and Trazyn activated the pylons which if I remember correctly made celestine feel pain. Also on another note, the legion of the damned are also probably in the category of Daemon Prince of some sort created from the souls of Fallen Loyalist Astartes. I think The Legion of The Damned are pretty similar to the concept of the Nightengales of Nocturnal from the Elder Scrolls video game series. You know serve your god in life and serve them in death as some kind of astral spirit like the Legion of The Damned. I also think mankind is arguably the most powerful psychic species in the galaxy right now. I say this because even though the average Elder is more psychically powerful than the average human and orcs have the waagh field thing. Humans due to how numerous they are as well as the fact they have the power of faith which is basically the human version of the orc waagh field. Humans instead of like orcs making what they believe exist they instead put their faith in themselves and the being once living now undeath and a permanent part of the warp through faith in this humanity gains power and strength which has time and again overcome every other race in the galaxy in battle when they battle humanity.
Living Saints have nothing to do with Daemon Princes. Celestine can stay out of the warp for as long as she wants, unlike the Daemon Princes who belong to the Immaterium.
Y'know, I wonder if Big E ever tested the limits of his weird glamor ability by visiting a young kid on a non-imperial agricultural world. With no understanding of technology and no experience of threat and safety it would be difficult to manipulate that into a perception of who they wanted Big E to be in their mind...Would he see the true form of the Golden Not-God? What about someone with an indecision complex? Would he just keep switching forms? The possibilities are staggering...
Largely depends on the child I suppose. I doubt it would be quite his true form though, but rather a magnified version of whoever has been the child’s favorite role model at that point.
Big E on the throne: why can't you see this light that I'm shining for you, I've never burned so bright but I still can't get through to reach the other side I'll keep on shining for you until the end of time.
In summary what I got is that the God Emperor of Mankind had awesome hair and wanted his sons to all have awesome hair like him. When a good number of his sons showed to not be like him in having awesome hair he became a negligent father to them. As a result of his lack of being a good father figure and their own inadequacy in the hair department they turned traitor and messed up his life's work. Also his woman left him and took the kids but not really she just left them to be fiddled by the chaos gods while she fucked off, which the big E was alright with. Now he sits on a golden throne and the stress of life has caused his radiant hair to fall out and his once glorious skin to rot until all that is left is a skeleton of a once great man. The Big E is also bald now technically so I figure that is a bad thing for humanity. Don't have kids, they ruin your life as soon as they stop seeing you as their god. As a theory Lorgar still worships his father and everything he did was so that the rest of humanity would to one day, the Big E will one day wake up consuming Terra and a great deal of humanity and possibly the other chaos gods as he becomes the 5th chaos god, the true father of the galaxy who will happily accept Lorgar as his favorite son and finally buy him ice cream as Lorgar always envisioned his father one day doing. Lorgar is a good son and if he has to ruin the entire galaxy for his father to get this then he will do what is needed make father proud of him.
The Most perfect 'Man Emperor of Mankind' who did nothing wrong and is the best father ever. MAGNUS INTESIFIES! Also it seems all the perpetuals are just a bunch of idiots bar Malcador , the Emperor and VULKAN. This almost makes me question why so many of them were made prevalent to the story.
Seems like it’d be hard to remain sane and wise after 50k years of living through the Warhammer 40000 universe tbqh, and I’m surprised more of them weren’t insane monsters as evil as any servant of chaos. I don’t mind them being part of the stories but would like to know more about them and the other contemporaries of the Emperor prior to his victory in the Unification War.
I just got into warhammer 40k last week, I asked my buddy (the warhammer enthusiast) “where the hell is the emperor amongst all this fuckery”) I was linked this video.
From now on any time I try and explain the Big E to people unfamiliar with Warhammer, I now find myself starting by saying that he decided that it was time to clap the galaxy's cheeks. Thanks, Majorkill lol
You don’t conquer millions of worlds being a “nice guy”. Honestly 40k blows my mind when I just think about the sheer amount of lore behind the setting. It genuinely saddens me that I have only been into 40k for the past 2 years.
The idea of the emperor being split with part of him in the warp is interesting because it might not be only compassion that had to go, a betrayal as bad as the Horus heresy would likely cause a lot of negative emotions and ptsd that would hinder the emperor in many ways. I wouldn’t be surprised if he doesn’t want to be reunited and reborn because in his current state he is able to devote 100% of his available power to the task at hand without any emotions involved and likely would consider that to be far more beneficial than regaining not only his compassion, but all of the dark things locked away with it that he would have to confront which would likely weaken his abilities to a degree.
One slight problem that is not the Emperor in the 2nd picture it’s Malcador the Sigillite after he took over from the Emperor temporarily when he was fighting the war in the warp. Because it basically sucked him dry only the Emperor has the power to use the Golden Throne without it killing after awhile and as a fan for forty years I remember when that picture first came out.
The way i see the classicv lore is horus afflicts all of the emperors wounds in sub 3 seconds which is when the E makes his reilization and immediatly witnesses Olanius charge and die. Its the malice which he used to do it that cemented his primarch lvl willpower to ever be redemed
5:15-:5:24 I can imagine that considering the positives Timmy would want thousands of Shamans to go inside him, all that power, but well if it happened R.I.P to Majorkill since he made guy who he didn't treat nicely to say least and lowball into a God in human form, and thus the situation will reverse.
He had great expectations of Lorgar. He was his son and did not want to be seen as a god by HIM, whereas it was easier and less bloody to just convince the AdMech he was an avatar of the Omnisiah.
The golden throne is like the generator of winterhome the only difference is the time it both are taking. Has not happened to the throne yet but perhaps soon.
I'm quite new to the fandom! But I love your videos! This is all a lot to take in! Especially when it's all so interesting! Your videos are a huge help! Thank you for your hard work! 😁
I do genuinely think the Star Child is still canon. But that the separation happened way before the battle with Horus. Likely sometime between the subduing of the Dragon of Mars and creation of the thunder warriors Big E cast aside his compassion and empathy in order to avoid being distracted by personal attachments. This would explain why some of the miraculous feats of the emperor appear so utterly out of character for a being supposedly devoid of human connections. That these feats are the actions of the Star Child manifesting the power of human belief from within the warp.
So ur take on Magnus was on point with the yes, he was at fault. I was really interested on ur opinion on if the Emperor fucked up(of course heresy) or the fuckery is part of a greater plan. Personally, I feel like there were many ways his plans 4 humanity in 40K could have gone wrong, so overal he did really good despite how shitty the Imperium turned out currently.
I just started getting into the 40k lore after being scared of the vastness of it. Im just jumping in and love this channel to explain!!! Here i go....
I seriously would like to see what happens if the Emperor isn't so reclusive and is open to his "sons" which then told them about how Chaos is dangerous etc.
my theory was that the Void Dragon half allowed itself to be imprisoned by the Emperor because it was better than being a Pokemon for the Necron and he couldnt hide for much longer with the necros waking up 10k years later

Given that each primarch is a kind of part of Big E's Big D's Big Sperm's. I suspect that missing primarchs were: 1) One of them a Space Jesus loving everyone and everything even Xenos (maybe ended up on a planet of both Humans and Xenos) 2) Either a wild dog that rebelled or a MutatedPrimarch and mutated astartes legion maybe due to do something like emotions or something?
I think it's safe to assume at least one of them was highly mutated since when Horus asks Sanguinius why he hasn't asked the Emperor for help fixing his geneseed flaws Sanguinius thought it was obvious he would get [REDACTED] if he found out and Horus doesn't argue otherwise. Also Fulgrim almost let slip a reference to one of the [REDACTED] legions when talking about the Emperor's Children geneseed having had issues: the Emperor's Children wiped out most of their own legion because of a cancerous mutation in the geneseed, if Fulgrim was willing to kill most of his sons just to get rid of any tainted geneseed this had to have been his only option. And we have references to other Primarchs not blaming one of the [REDACTED] Primarchs for whatever happened to them; meaning at least one didn't do anything wrong (at least intentionally), being mutated would fit this. The other might have had ideological differences based on the fact that the Imperial Fists and Ultramarines likely absorbed part of one of the [REDACTED] legions, since they couldn't have had horribly mutated geneseed (unless it was only most of the legion and the rest were unaffected) so it probably wasn't mutation. And when Lorgar talks to Magnus they talk about how he was nearly got [REDACTED] but they decided they didn't want another one of their brothers to be lost. The way Lorgar and Magnus talk about it makes it seem like his crime was similar to one of the [REDACTED] primarchs.

Slaanesh: chaos god of sex and torture is the only chaos god that wasn't created acidentally by humans but by the eldar and when he/she was born it kill almost all of the eldar and everytime one if them dies their soul get devoured by him and she/he was the thing that awoken the other three (that was dormant until her birth) into becoming what they are today
The strongest of the four are khorne,Tzeench, nurgle, slaanesh in that order

Tzeench in a ever changing maze
Nurgle in a mansion with the main room where he is with his cauldron (captive eldar is in another room)

You know about the 2nd and 11th primarchs my theory is that they actually sacrificed themselves and their legions to defeat the Rangdan Xenos race in the Rangdan Xenocide.
Yeah maybe but then why was malcador tearing down their statues on terra

I always figured the Inquisition knows he is still alive, and if he died he could be reborn and they would lose their power and status, and maybe even their lives for things they've done. So they're keeping him on "life support" on the throne to prevent any of this from happening.

I read master of mankind a month ago and it's one of the best books I ever read. As a 40k noob, it taught me a lot about everything.

Cool that you've mentioned The Emperor's Legion, that was an interesting book and an insight to the soul of a banana guard.

@@ThomasTee well I am one sooooo...
Oh boy oh boy oh boy (with TTS Emp voice)
One slight problem that is not the Emperor in the 2nd picture it’s Malcador the Sigillite after he took over from the Emperor temporarily when he was fighting the war in the warp. Because it basically sucked him dry only the Emperor has the power to use the Golden Throne without it killing after awhile and as a fan for forty years I remember when that picture first came out.

Plot Twist: God Emperor reincarnates as Timmy on Earth.
There really should be a "Brief History of the God Emperor of Mankind" short-movie starring the cast of both Fat Pizza and Housos.

Wow that's wild. But accurate. Peter Steele had a jawline most men could never have 😂
I do genuinely think the Star Child is still canon.
New to Warhammer happy I landed here for the lore dump
So ur take on Magnus was on point with the yes, he was at fault. I was really interested on ur opinion on if the Emperor fucked up(of course heresy) or the fuckery is part of a greater plan. Personally, I feel like there were many ways his plans 4 humanity in 40K could have gone wrong, so overal he did really good despite how shitty the Imperium turned out currently.

Given that each primarch is a kind of part of Big E's Big D's Big Sperm's. I suspect that missing primarchs were:
1) One of them a Space Jesus loving everyone and everything even Xenos (maybe ended up on a planet of both Humans and Xenos)
2) Either a wild dog that rebelled or a MutatedPrimarch and mutated astartes legion maybe due to do something like emotions or something?
