Even though your resume is with the interviewer it doesn’t mean you start talking about random things about yourself. Your answer should focus on what interests the interviewer. This is your opportunity to impress the interviewer in a few sentences and to kick off the interview with a bang. Therefore you should stick to summarizing your recent experience, your journey, what you are bringing to the table and where you want take your career.

I'm sharing my opinion on your answer. I have a great respect for you. The answer is really innovative in a way that you mentioned about the things which are not there in the resume/CV. This is advisable to include this in answer. But, I think it could sound a little awkward to mention that it's already mentioned on the resume.
Nice tip to share details not mentioned in the CV (not resume), but saying it aloud just turned an impressive tip into an arrogant buzzer. Tell me about yourself is simple, just reiterate 4 basics and a 5th point that's not mentioned in CV. The best answer is why you love the task and what you do to socially. Hope it helps.
I am in a very reputed MNC based in US working on high level management and I answered in such creative ways always now I interview many people and i.look for such skillfull creative logical and confident answers

High level interviews demads the same.. you may be right for entry levels again depending on the kind of skill set required. But i never faced rejections instead i used to ask questions to the interviewer.

Some people among us did started talking like this but they were stopped by the interviewer because their intro alone was taking a lot of time and there were like 200+ of us there. Tbh intros should depend on the type of interview. This kinda intro would be nice for an HR interview but for, let's say, a technical interview, it would be much better if the candidate relates their intro to the skills they possess and techincal stuff they've built/solved using those skills (like projects etc.); just my opinion
