As far as I know there’s still no undo, there’s also no auto save so save after you import, after you relayer, after you reset origin points, etc. Don’t lose your hard work!
Also, an easy way to make animated sprites is to use a sprite packer. You just have to upload all the frames to your animation and it will automatically arrange it for you. I used this site in particular (Google "codeandweb free sprite sheet packer", I can't paste links). I think you just have to set padding to 0px and layout to horizontal for PNGTuber+, then download as an image.
Organisation tip for layering in PNGtuber Plus: on drawing stage, Number your layers! start with the one under everything. Example: 1.tail 5.face 9.eyeL and so on. Work smarter, not harder.
!! If you are using procreate you can save all of your layers as individual png’s in one go by simply selecting “PNG files” under “share layers” !! Although depending on where you save them, you might want to name your layers afterwards.
Your PNGtuber+ showcases were some of the first ones I watched when I downloaded the program for the first time--the lineless style you use is so iconic and recognizable! What a great tutorial as well for beginners, keep it up I hope your channel makes it big!
for animated sprites/gifs: In CSP: - Create the animation using CSP's timeline and animation features - File > Export Animation > Image Sequence (make sure its in a separate folder for ease of access) (ALSO be mindful of the output image size) - Loop up "Free Sprite Sheet Packer" it should be the link under "CodeAndWeb" - Change the layout to [Horizontal] and the padding to [0] - Download the .png - 👍 Other programs like FireAlpaca also have an Image Sequence export option so the steps are the same for the most part. Hope this helps
I have struggled with the rigging of my PNGTuber that I got already rigged by my wonderful artist. Watching this video has explained to me what each items was and what I need to change in order to fix my silly lil' cat dude's tail
This was genuinely so freaking helpful. I didn't know about half of these features (such as the layer & origin point moving) and after knowing them my pngtuber is 10x better! TYSM! Also your art is very cute and amazing!
Hey Ganymede! Just wanna thank you for helping me understand the process that goes behind making PNGtubers and the rigging process with PNGtuber+! Thanks to this one tutorial alone, i was able to make 4 rendentions of my avatar, each one better than the last with practice. I have Autism so watching tutorial videos is oftentimes difficult since im not being taught actively, but the way you explained things helped a ton. Its simple and straight to the point.
aaaaa this is so much fun!! i've been making pngtubers without suuuper in depth tutorials, so im def using this one as reference for commissions n stuff! tysmmmm ^^
Firstly, thank you for the wonderful tutorial. Secondly, this is my first exposure to you. Your character is so beautiful and adorable at the same time.❤
I personally use Windows and have no experience with MacOS, so I can't provide any help from experience. I'm sure there are other resources out there to help you with your concern! You may also look on the official website to see if there are any developer-created tutorials or official guides for MacOS :)
so im trying to layer my images and they arent all showing up. only one at a time when i click on it. and when i try to put a layer on top of another, the bottom one just disappears...help please. thank you.
@@Zenbu711 I believe I mentioned in the video that the recommended size is 750x750 px! I don’t have experience with Ibis but as long as you can open your file on PC using photoshop or some other art program, or you can save the layers individually as PNGs, you should have no problem with using it
im having an issue when i try to start a new character it opens up the file manager to some area called logs and i cant map back to were my individual pieces are saved. do i need to use the website for that or is photoshop ok?
Hi! Create a new source in OBS and select "Game Capture." From there, select the PNGtuber Plus window, and select "Allow transparency" Let me know if it doesn't work out!
@ganymedeVT My avatar only moves if the bar with it is open, and I wanted to ask you if there is any possibility to use it when it is minimized in the bottom bar
You need to set individual layers for eyes open and closed, and then set the states for it accordingly. It should be next to the mouth open and closed settings

Great idea, I used it and it really helped!
Aha, good advice! I shall follow this because alphabetic order will really mess up with the order in which they need to go if you don't add numbers.

i hate the transparence is there anyway to turn that off
