I think it's interesting how a lot of PNGTubers appear to follow a similar process with how many individual sprites they use, and how they get/make them. I majored in graphic design with an intent to go into game development - for the job I was aiming for, I would have been doing work quite similar to how PNGTuber models are constructed. This fact alone has me really wanting to make one for myself even though I probably wouldn't have a use for it, since it's a skillset I've neglected for a while now lol (all /gen, this is like actually really cool to me) my fingers yearn for the digital puppets once again,,,,,
That's really interesting! Honestly, I'd say go for it. You never know if it may just be a newfound passion of yours! I believe in you, you got this! There are also lots of people who do PNGTuber commissions (make and sell PNGTubers, like myself) so you can always look into that too.
Honk looks nice, but if I want to sell a PNGtuber that I made with Honk, would the customer have to actually buy Honk as well in order to use it, or am I missing something?
Yes, that is a downside to HONK. If you'd like to sell a PNGTuber made with it, the customer would have to buy HONK! In this case, I'd say PNGTuber Plus is better to work with because it's an easier process for selling and it's free, so the customer wouldn't have to buy anything 💜🍩
That is true! Sometimes you do have to weigh those pros and cons. Honestly, since I last made this video, PNGTuber + has had sime neat additions! All while still being free 💜🍩
