I’m absolutely loving Hope with High Evo. A natural fit, she solves the Magik/Limbo issue and Hope into Wasp on T3 into a T4 Leech is downright rude lol. Instant staple. Looking forward to your takes on Pixie, struggling with her atm!
i'm loving Hope so far! That may change once i get out of the 80s though lol. 90s have been rough for me these past few seasons. I've got the Elsa, Kitty, Angela package and so happy it's competitive again. Added hulk buster, jeff, and silk to keep feeding Hope when she's on the board and i'm running three 6 drops. Too often i've got extra energy so I took out Vision for She Hulk. It's been so much fun! Tech cards are Shang and Cosmo.
I was loosely messing with Havok and Hope with some of the elsa list..Playing on Hope offsets the Havok hit if you go Hope on 3 and Havok/Jeff for example on 4 or Havok Elsa, etc
Put Wasp in your debuff High Evolutionary deck. On 3 you can Wasp on Hope. You can then skip turn 4 and play She-Hulk + Thing on 5. Or you can play Cyclops on 4 and float two energy. Or you can play Wasp on 5 and Hulk will jump up once more on 6 plus Cyclops will proc and Misty Knight and Sunspot.
So far I've been using Hope in a collector/bounce hybrid. No complaints, my real issue I've been having sometimes is dishing out big power. shouts out to Bloodstone though.
I’m definitely only gonna go for war machine and potentially buy hope this season. All the other new cards seem ok. This season is great for me to save for April and whatever may is.
I got Thanos today in addition to Hope, so naturally I put them together into Thanos ongoing deck I made. Hope feels good there. Most of the time I don't draw her in time to be able to play her, but that's fine since the deck isn't dependent on her. And when I do play her in time and get to play those 5 or 6 cost cards turn early it always has a big impact on the game.
i feel like pairing her with pyslocke makes sense, so you can start ramping round 3 instead of 4. the draw rng would def make that difficult, i just feel like +1 energy for turn 5 and 6 isnt actually that good when compared to corvus and electro, who get you energy for turn 4 aswell
I’m surprised Alex didn’t mention Thanos. That deck seems like a perfect inclusion for Hope because you can play the cheap stones into her and ramp out your big 5/6-costs more easily
@@AlexanderCoccia I think you should test a little bit more before doing a review honestly. I prefer waiting until the weekend (since there are no season pass quest until that) than buying a card wihtout knowing its full potential.
@@EPK_AI_DUBSThey do exactly that on the Snapchat, then you can comfortably do the weekend quest for another 30 hours after the SC releases. Nobody forces you to watch this, but if his views decrease by 50% because he releases a video too late then it's his problem not yours.
I have hope in my she-naut deck in place of Magick (I don't have her yet) and it's working well. Helps me get to 6 energy on turn 5 so I can do the she-naut surprise earlier 😂. Most people's decks aren't ready for 30 power out of nowhere. I'm only collection level 750, and I have only been playing for 2 weeks so don't take this as advice. However, I like her in my control deck. ✌️

It's fairly different than the one Alex has (No KM + Nova and have Magik and abs man in place, among other stuff) and it feels super good to be able to play 2 3's on 5, or surfer + abs + 3 cost on 6 if I've got Sera down. She definitely fits in the deck well!
Playing surfer and loving it! But I run my surfer with Wong and Absorbing man… games that I’m able to get her out on curve I’m filling the board which I feel has been a harsh reality for Surfer.. usually you can only play 2 lanes hard and that doesn’t cut it anymore..
For Surfer-Hopium, try a buffing deck: drop Sera, Jeff, Goose and Polaris or Spidey. add Forge, Okoye, Nakia and Absorbing Man. Gives you a playline of Hope + Forge on 5 to do Brood + Abs Man for 24 power on turn 6. Also lets you go taller by doing Surfer + Abs Man on turn 6. Suddenly your Brood lane is 18+ power and Sebastian Saw gets to 12 power by himself. Goose isnt good in Surfer right now because Black Knight, Hela, Tribubal and even Thanos can sneak their big boys into that lane anyway.

Maybe I should ask this as a mailbag question but I’m struggling to figure out how to ask this but. With all this uptick in energy/mama gaining cards like Corvus and now Hope coming to the game, why are they making more of these energy altering cards while knowing that Zabu is a HUGE problem in the game. Do you think more of these cards are healthy for the game seeing as how Zabu has turned out?
Not sure if people are playing her wrong, but my discard deck has been feasting on Hope Summers decks that look like Kitty/Elsa decks. They don’t seem to have enough power to stand up to meta decks.
She works pretty well with Mobster Move. But I'm not sure whether I prefer her or Negasonic. Both fill a role, and it feels like more of a sideways step IMO I have a 64% win rate with her in the deck since the reset, which is going to be partially inflated right now at 70-100

Do you think the developers are getting too greedy? As a long time player, I no longer feel like players are getting anything close to good value. Please let us know what you think about this.
bounce is the deck to abuse hope summers. which makes me scared that hope will eat a nerf. if we learned one thing over the year is that bounce is the forbidden deck that always gets nerfed when it is good lol
I honestly feel super disappointed for the season pass. I already got lots of gold but nothing to use it on. We already got free variants for the the two card variants in this season pass. So I'm left with 1x "P2W card" and 300 credits (+ random variants that 99% likely junk variants or variants for junk cards) vs. if I just play the free season pass. Been buying every season pass for roughly one year, but this is prob my first skip in a long while.
Hope is definitely worth it. Anytime we get more energy then it's a good card. A part of me wishes she was a 3 cost but I understand that would be to stupid.

Been running her with a 4-cost power slam deck using Cull Obsidian, Skaar, Sentry, Attuma, etc. been having great success so far

I'm suprised not to see any Thanos build with Hope. I was testing her in Thanos after Lamby's stream and she felt really good
