I own the PW2. The larger 45mm might be enough to sway me to upgrade. My biggest complaint is SpO2 is not available on-demand. It still only tracks when sleeping. I usually don't wear my PW2 when sleeping so I never know that value. My previous smart watches could do that.
@@MattIsSleepy i mean that if pw2 would have the same new feature of PW3 it COULD have battery problems or some sort of bug. I don't know yet but I'm assuming that an hardware not built for some specific task could not perform as imagine
I'm switching from Apple (iPhone 14 Pro Max) to the Pixel 9 Pro XL after a few years on Apple. Which means I also need a new smart watch so I ordered the 3 LTE 45mm. I LOVE my Apple watch and it's health and exercise metrics so I'll be very interested to see how the P3 compares in feel and functionality.

I like to wait at least a year and buy last year's flagship devices used since they're "vetted" and cheap by then. I'm interested to see which FitBit Premium features come free with the Pixel Watch 3 (and if they'll offer those to Pixel Watch 2 owners too).

@@chrissmith2963 do you know if battery life is better on the WiFi version than on the LTE version? Check at the G-store, but they posted the same information as you above
Hey what's the battery life like on the 45mm? I literally cannot find any indepth video about battery life which was arguably the most contentious thing about the pw.
I'm still having a hard time justifying the price of these things. The 45mm LTE version costs as much as a Pixel 8a, and it does significantly less. Sure, it has a lot of sensors on it, but it also has a far cheaper display, processor, battery, and likely other significant components. I'll start getting interested when we have this level of watch for $200.
I've been holding off on buying a Pixel Watch as I've bought Fossil's offering in the past. It didn't do it for me. I decided not to adopt early. I think I'll finally buy in. Seems like Pixel finally offers most if not everything iOS offers.
They do it all the time with software camera and AI features on the Pixel phones. Yeah it's kinda lame but they often bring the features to the older models eventually.
Pixel Watch 3 over here is twice as expensive as the Pixel Watch 2, that makes it really difficult to recommend the Watch 3 over the Watch 2. Since the Watch 2 is so cheap here, it's only marginally more expensive than the Fitbit Sense 2 which obsoletes the Sense 2 completely imo since that one is lacking crucial features such as media control (Seriously Google, why?) So the only actually competing Google products in my opinion are the: Fitbit Charge 6: For a cheap, very good fitness tracker. Fitbit Versa 4: For slightly more - a slightly worse than Charge 6 Fitness tracker but with some added smart watch features (no spotify media controls!), so kind of a hybrid Google Pixel Watch 2: Can do everything the Charge 6, Versa 4 and Sense 2 can do for only 20€ more than the Sense 2 AND with a full suite smart watch features on top of it.
How is the sensor for heavily tattooed people? They normally make the watch unusable. Like bedtime mode.. We wont be able to use any auto turn off or bed time modes because the sensors cant tell if the watch is on or not.
I am upgrading from the pixel watch one to the Pixel watch 3 45 mm LTE, just to be ready in case I need it to be independent from my Pixel phone, by the way I'm trading my pixel watch one with Best Buy and I'm getting $140.00 to use toward the price of the watch 3.
