Minecraft Story Mode underrated. Compared to Legends and Earth, personally imo I think people were treating Story Mode too harshly. Plus, unlike Earth, those games allowed somewhat community stuff with seeing what percentages chose different decisions, and S2 had crowd voting options as well. I’m curious if those games were remastered for modern consoles if they were to sell well. There’s way more of a fanbase towards Story Mode. IDK if Mojang would play ball, but since Telltale is somewhat resurrected they and Mojang should consider being in talks to remaster the MC:SM games. Game preservation needs to be kept! 💯

Well, a major reason that you lightly touched on for Dungeons “failing” is that it can be completed in one sitting. Or a couple hours. I did a playthrough with some friends a while back and I have to say it was a blast, we didn’t expect to have nearly as much fun with it as we did. Toying around with the enchants, seeing how we would combine our attacks. Once we beat it we just kept moving up difficulty, unlocking more items. Over time I’ve come back to the game a couple times to replay it Touching back on your point as to why it “failed” being that it is dead, I’d say that’s more just the nature of the game. It didn’t fail, really it was a success, but naturally games like it will see a decline in players as they complete it due to the linear based gameplay loop. I wouldn’t say that is inherently a bad thing. The game just ran its due course. Which at that point they did what most games like it do, add some dlc for the players who really want some more out of the game. I think that’s fair enough. It’s not like they left the game unpolished or anything. Minecraft earth really just strikes me as sad, it was such a cool concept and a pretty good end product. The timing really did cause it to struggle though, I got so distracted by life that by the time I began to appreciate it, it was on the way out which was unfortunate. Oh yeah.. Minecraft legends. That game took 80$ from me. Cool artstyle, too late to refund.

Minecraft legends is actually a much better game now than it was when it launched, there has been some new update and stuff that actually makes it a fun and playable game that I very much enjoyed

I like minecraft legend's but i wish it had a feature called cross save it means that you can play where you left of your save progress on different consoles i have bought it twice on the Nintendo switch version and ps4 version. Awesome video picky.❤
Minecraft legends should add things to do after defeating the great hog because your world is just useless. Piglins just roam the world in tiny groups and they don’t rebuild their bases and attack villages. Villagers don’t give you quests. The only thing you can do is explore the world if you haven’t explored everything yet, remove all of your defenses from villages and at least try to cure all of the netherack
Tbh, I wouldn't consider Minecraft Dungeons as "failed." According to Steam, it gets around 400/500 concurrent players, and it doesn't include Minecraft Launcher and Console players. It's not as successful as the og Minecraft, but it's definitely not dead.
I don't think Dungeons should be part of this list, sure it's not perfect, but it didn't shut down like Earth or Story Mode. It will just no receive more updates, because to the devs eyes the game is complete now. Just because it has Minecraft in the name dosen't mean we will have endless updates like the main game. Other games stop getting updates at some point, but not because they are getting shut down, they have just reached the developers' final vision... same can be said to Dungeons

People don't like Minecraft becayse it has cubes like Mojang keeps thinking and doing in new games, people like Minecraft because it's Minecraft, virtually endless freedom, endless replayability, multiplayer that if done right is incredible, and essentially, endless content to have into one single game. People say that the perfect game doesn't exist and that it's purely subjective, but I disagree, the perfect game can exist without being perfect in the sense of having no flaws, but purely out of influence, interest from people, fun factor, and nostalgia too, all accumulate around Minecraft making it something different from a normal video game, and I, in the first place, don't have Minecraft as my favourite game nor it's close at being it, but it's something that cannot be sugarcoated, Minecraft's game is huge, a Minecraft spin-off is barely ever gonna be relevant unless it's a full-on sequel of Minecraft that acts like a massive update of it.
