So few can actually play songs like this with the right speed and or the right sounding piano. So many also omit notes and/or entire parts of the song that pretty much ruin the songs being played. It's honestly a tragedy this person doesn't have more viewership for playing the song this well.

I havent seen anyone get close to full speed with the original notes (might not be possible lol), bird anonymous hit them at a way slowed tempo, and this was just the melody. All good versions though.
All the pianists (me included) who tried to reproduce that piece know that the hardest part (but also the most enjoyable to listen to) is what starts at 1:06 Indeed, the right hand has two melodies to play at the same time. And if you suck (like me) you have to give up one of them. I never found someone able to make it sound like in the original. You sir, are amazing and an inspiration.
@@happypercussionist1 if it hasn't been exposed to excessive humidity or heat and it has been nicely sitting in it's case you can probably still use it. I recommend to wash it with water first and drying it off.
I've been looking for someone that can switch from its bouncy rhythm to its flush crescendo and back to bouncy for a while. The precision and elegant movements of their hands is icing on the cake. This is the best I've found so far.

I cannot agree more! I learnt this as well it's the hardest song I've ever played (harder than fantasie impromptu). I just can't seem to get the part at 2:09. I will probably simplify it.

Even tho he is good I think that lattice’s cover is closer to the original by tempo and composition.

Lattice's cover is arranged amazingly, but he had missed the beat at one point, and that imperfection from otherwise perfect cover kept bothering me.
