We successfully tracked down the world famous tree climbing lions of the Ishasha sector in Queen Elizabeth National Park. We not only stumbled on upon a tree climbing lion, but it was missing an eye!

So cool you found the tree climbing lions :) I just read TripAdvisor reviews of Queen Elizabeth National Park and thought they were gone since multiple people said they got poisoned & electrocuted + left because of habitat destruction due to fires. So I'm glad they're still around :)

Yes, they were so cool to see! They seemed to have a healthy population in Ishasha as we always spoke to the guards going in or out and they would indicate they were spotted in trees almost daily.

Love your videos. May I ask how much does a trip like that cost? My 'only' wild-life experience (so far) is Kruger Park.

Thank you! I would say this trip of about 12 days in Uganda cost around $2,500 per person, not including flights. It is probably the most expensive trip we have ever taken! I provided a bit of a cost breakdown per person below:
      $700 - Gorilla Permit
      $200 - Chimp Permit
      $400 - Vehicle Rental
      $300 - Fuel
$45 per day - Park Permits
      $45 per day - Lodging
