so i had a 2020 i assembled a couple years ago. I remember it being way more time consuming and difficult than the process this time around. Thank yall, I look forward to using this chair!
Installing the backrest has been way more trouble than it looks here. It won’t slide all the way down on the right one without me shoving it with a lot of force, and the left side didn’t ship in the “down” position like it is here, but fully up. Edit: turns out shoving the left side back down got the right side loose enough to fit correctly. All assembled now and is pretty great! Looks amazing and is nice and comfy
Very easy to assemble. Took me about 30 minutes to put together which includes un-boxing and deciphering instructions. May have to use Kaio-Kenx4 to get screw holes to line up when attaching to base. Would be easier if you use a wall or a friend to hold the cushion. I watched this video once and just followed the included instructions.
Wow that was really easy! I'm a complete idiot when it comes to these things so rest assured that if I can do this anyone can. So happy with TH-cam instruction videos, I remember the olden days when you where dependent on some vague one sheet manual that often left out context, took me hours to figure out these things. But with videos as these it's easy peasy!
I'm about to get my Titan Evo 2022 Monster Hunter edition and I'm excited to see how well your chair holds up! I've never purchased a premium chair experience like this before so here's hoping it will last me quite a while and give me some of that comfort I've desperately wanted for a while now xD

My chair just came in today and I just completed my cute Soda Purple chair after watching this incredibly helpful guide. I've gone through a few simple office chairs just to get by but they only last so long until the leather of the chair itself falls apart or the bottom cushion just doesn't provide enough support. I'd say this is a well worth investment for the sake of gaming in comfort. Thank you Secretlab!
Just assembled my chair... I was using a hand-me-down office chair for the longest time and it was just killing my back. This chair is pretty comfortable, though I've only been sitting in it for about 15 minutes. I work in my home office, so I am sitting for most of the day, a great chair makes all of the difference. Though, since also just assembled my magnus pro, I hopefully won't be sitting as much everyday.

Got my 22’ Titan Evo today and had it set up in 30-40 mins with the help of my 10 year old. I have an auto immune disease which makes it hard to do task that impact my joints but this was an easy assembly. Appreciate the effort put into this chair. i wasn’t able to put the backrest on until i took off the red reclining screw. the angle wasn’t correct. it went forward a lot after pulling it but i was able to put the backrest on. after you assemble it, you can recline it back, so don’t worry!

@@odb2388 one of the holes for the retaining screw for the back of the chair is crooked. I couldn’t get one of the bolts in more than a quarter of the way.

Well it took me like 3 hours but I did it 😭 how the hell thur expect one person to be able to get the headrest screw slots aligned, and to turn it over, both times took all my strength 💀 it was difficult asf, the headrest screw aligning part, but I did it :D thanks for the tutorial video, very helpful.
For those rare few of you who are like me and dealing with the issue of the fabled broken tilt mechanism and have gotten all the replacement parts for the bottom of the chair. Size 6 Allen key to remove the 4 m8 screws, you’re welcome
i did this all and thought i missed a step when it got to connect the wheel base to the rest. ive done it the same as the video but there is nothing stopping the wheel base from sliding leaving the hydraulic press ? With the chair on its face right now, i can just take the base off easily, i dont think itd be a huge problem ? but if i were to lift up the chair by the seat for example, would the wheel base slide off with it ? 😭 i could be missing something but i def did it how the diagram says and how the video shows so idk, maybe it just wont be an issue but its something i noticed at least
Is the hydronic piston supposed to dangle below the wheel base? It’s about 2-3 inches off the ground still but not sure if it matches what the video is showing
Damn...they weren't kidding.Assembly was pretty ok even for someone who can't use their hands for shit like me! Be sure to get someone to help you lift it near the end-steps if you can't lift heavy stuff.Chair is heavy.

@Secretlab Upon dismantling the tilt base. How is it removed? It's stuck on pretty firmly on the hydraulic piston. Trying to stand on the wheel base and pulling it up. It won't come off.
This makes attaching the left side screws look much simpler than it was for me. But it was helpful to let me know I wasn't off base. Curious why there wasn't a "slide" on both sides for easier alignment?
I assume if you slide it on the left one first, you wouldn't be able to slide it on the other so would have to do both sides. Maybe more fiddly getting it in both 'slides' The left side is free to move while the right side is locked by the lever

All it takes is pressing down harder. It took me 3 minutes tops. I just laid down, put one leg on the head rest area, pressed down hard with my thigh to get the foam to squish enough for the holes to line up, then put in the screws. It takes a bit of pressure, but it wasn't hard at all

The only problem I found with putting it together was the angle of the right piece of metal you attach the back to was too leant back meaning it couldn't go in all the way. I had to recline it towards to get it correct but other than that it was seemless
Just built a Titan EVO 2022. What are the stickers for? They have screw holes in them. Some kind of noise reduction? Says do not discard. Nothing about them in instructions or install video.

Massive issue with aligning the holes on the backrest, only the first two on each side will fit, the bottom ones on the left and right won't screw in, tried to re adjust it and now non of the screws will fit

Hey secret labs, I have a question for you. So you know how you can lock the chair mid tilt? Does it not work when the chair is fully tilted back? Because if you go to pull up on the left lever, it does not come up far enough to lock the chair. The bottom of the chair interferes with the handle when you pull up on it when the chair is full tilt
@@XnathOW yep, sure did. I put mine on exactly like that. The directions are super easy to follow and essentially dummy proof, but it doesn’t make sense to me

Hey, I’m trying to take advantage of my warranty for my 2020 chair before the 2022 chairs were made available, and I was sent to this video while trying to present the issue with my tilting mechanism being loose. I think he mistaken the chair and video I sent him as a 2022 and not a 2020 chair and that irked me.
I used this guide for the extra large chair and am very unfortunate as the back portion of the chair does not lock and I believe is fully broken from the right side of the lower chair. I don't know how it broke during assembly but just trying to shift it has left me with over half a thousand dollars of useless chair and now I have no idea how to fix the right side of this thing. Terrible online customer service with no way of speaking directly with someone. Honestly with how much you pay it should come assembled. Just so there's no room for error or the heavy back part breaking the reclining parts/tearing away from the chair. This chair has ruined my Christmas. I feel like a failure and I've dreamed of getting it. Saved up every paycheck what little money I could. And now it's almost assembled but broken. I feel like I just wasn't meant to have this chair by this point. I hate my life.

this is arguably the hardest part to do tbh. was a bit difficult if youve got disabilities oof.

It's a pain in the ass, I had to press it down hard with my leg while holding the bracket with one hand and screwing it in with the other

I actually set this up with just the instruction mat, but I wanted to make sure the wheelbase assembly was correct. It was a cinch.

How do i align the backrest it is kind of..non horizontal on the right side
Massive issue with aligning the holes on the backrest, only the first two on each side will fit, the bottom ones on the left and right won't screw in, tried to re adjust it and now non of the screws will fit

Hey secret labs, I have a question for you. So you know how you can lock the chair mid tilt? Does it not work when the chair is fully tilted back? Because if you go to pull up on the left lever, it does not come up far enough to lock the chair. The bottom of the chair interferes with the handle when you pull up on it when the chair is full tilt

Did you notice the handles were labeled, and oriented to opposite sides?
@@XnathOW yep, sure did. I put mine on exactly like that. The directions are super easy to follow and essentially dummy proof, but it doesn’t make sense to me

odd ... It took me < 30 minutes start to finish all alone with a bad back.
Honestly, I had more trouble with the tilt and lift handles.

Hey, I’m trying to take advantage of my warranty for my 2020 chair before the 2022 chairs were made available, and I was sent to this video while trying to present the issue with my tilting mechanism being loose. I think he mistaken the chair and video I sent him as a 2022 and not a 2020 chair and that irked me.
I used this guide for the extra large chair and am very unfortunate as the back portion of the chair does not lock and I believe is fully broken from the right side of the lower chair.
I don't know how it broke during assembly but just trying to shift it has left me with over half a thousand dollars of useless chair and now I have no idea how to fix the right side of this thing.
Terrible online customer service with no way of speaking directly with someone.
Honestly with how much you pay it should come assembled. Just so there's no room for error or the heavy back part breaking the reclining parts/tearing away from the chair.
This chair has ruined my Christmas. I feel like a failure and I've dreamed of getting it. Saved up every paycheck what little money I could. And now it's almost assembled but broken.
