If you win a jackpot ticket. First, smartest thing. Fill out the info on the back, that way if someone tries to take it. Your info is on ticket and no other person can claim it.
If you get a winning ticket for a high amount I think the best would be to make copies of it, take pictures of the ticket with you, get a lawyer and financial advisor and also deposit it in a safe in the bank.

I would invite my mom for coffee.. would pull out some tickets as we do occasionally.... would ask her to double check my “losers” when we were done( as we normally do) and I would have the big winner in there. I would invite my mom for coffee.. would pull out some tickets as we do occasionally.... would ask her to double check my “losers” when we were done( as we normally do) and I would have the big winner in there. I would be secretly recording her.... and also be ready to call 911 in case she had a heart attack... lol. At least that’s what I think I would do.... if I ever won millions..... I might have to go to the doctor myself.... lol. I have definitely thought about it many times. The only sure thing I know is that I would have to spend some time to compose myself and get my head straight and to calm my pounding heart 👍👍👍.

This may be the closest I come to winning the jackpot! Good for you! I would get a fire proof safe, not tell anyone I won, and got he very next day to cash in. Then I would tell only immediate family. No one needs to know theres a new sucker on the block ready to be robbed.

Sign it 1st then I would take several photos and first send them to my lawyer before I went. Then I would have a small locking bodypurse and go with 2 other trusting people.

For a big claimer ticket I would sign my ticket, takes lots of pictures of it and pictures of me with it.
I would probably put it in portable fire safe and carry it myself into the lottery office. I believe they are open now for claim drop offs.
