May apples are delicious! But sooo hard to find bc the wildlife gets there first.

This was a great video to watch, very informative. I didn't know the burning bush was invasive. I have one in my yard and the Brown Thrashers love it. My husband and I are moving later this Summer and I started thinking about what to plant at our new home. With the exception of some black walnut trees, grass is the only thing growing. I started doing some reading on Pennsylvania native plants, trees and shrubs and how beneficial they are to our local ecosystems and decided that I'm going use as much native plants as possible. I've got an acre to fill and so excited to get it started! Not to mention, native plants are just as beautiful, if not more so than invasive ones. Please do more videos like this, I really enjoyed it! :)

Thank you for this informative presentation Dr. Sacchi. I've always wanted to attend your talks at Hawk Mountain. I will be looking more downward to the wildflowers on my next visit.
