Actualy the holes , where Asaulter's jet wings plug , on his hips have to be scraped a bit on the inside wich does makes the tabs plug a lot easyer and still have a good grip on the slot so the whole toy does not explode .
I found out after i sao some extra paint inside the slots and i scraped that paint on the inside if the slots and it worked and a lot of friends did the same think and it still worked ( that is a general thing of this toy )
i was sold on this guy at seeing only the jet mode back in proto. Good to see a return (even if just for one bit) of Vangelus's ad lib reviewing..made me smile like a man gain.....wut?
Having been playing with Assaulter for two weeks now, I am in awe of just how much value is packed into the figure. I cannot stress this enough: if you have even a passing interest in Assaulter, BUY HIM! Buy TWO, and then buy both sets of Reprolabels so you can have both a Broadside, AND an SDF-1/Valkyrie that is more than adequate an homage to each. Best third party TF to date. GET HIM!

Great review! Sold me on a figure I've been quite unsure of for a while now... Loving the chain bases as the background. A can of Testors dullcote will make those go a long way towards not being so shiny.

I love the Macross mode. I think it's the coolest mode out of all of them. The weapons look like they ought to turn into energy swords as opposed to a pair of tonfa, but that's just me being nitpicky. I like them all the same. I have a question, though: what model of Starscream is the one being used in the video?
I have to say, this is the first time a FansProject toy has really reached out and made me WANT it. Particularly the VERY Gundamish space carrier. But that price tag... maybe I can paint it into colors more to my taste...
This is beautiful. I don't know why Hasbro/TakTomy won't give us something like this. This doesn't look or feel like some hugely complicated 3rd party collectors item with a bunch of fiddly parts. It feels like how Transformers should have gone right after Cybertron. Big, chunky, articulated, and simple. I love the movie, I love certain figures from the line but I think it took us down a path we are slowly trying to recover from.

Ok,here me out.I believe the combination of the secret red face,the coloring on his legs,and the axe modes of the guns make me believe he is based on a Native American.I know in g1 he had an axe and the details on his legs,but it's something to think about

@@misterbadguy7325 that was how I felt about 3P at the time, that they were placeholders meant to hold the fort while hasbro/takara Tony got to work on the real thing Since then the collecting game has evolved to a point where someone out there has a version of a character you like that sits with your preferences I don’t 100% agree with it myself (I’m official all the way)
The battleship mode looks helluva like a Nahel Argama, White Base and Archangel legged ship of great shipness .
I like how in the jet mode you can fold out the axe blades to make thruster effect parts. Not sure if it's official but I thought it looked cool.
