Gotta say, Vangelus and Thew are the only youtube reviewers who legitimately make me laugh. I mean Peaugh and Emgo may make me chuckle every once and a while, but these two just make me fully laugh out loud.
Like Scorn, I wish he was bigger, but that is more to personal taste rather anatomical correction. Those early pictures of the Dinobots' figures certainly don't do them justice as at least from what I can see, there more proportionally pleasing to eye than I originally thought.

the swords are in the design, of a weapon called the sword breaker, if you catch a blade in between the groove and use a twisting motion with your wrist and hand it will break the blade caught in half. so your opponent no longer has a weapon
I thought his swords in beast mode was to make him a fusion of a triceratops and a kentrosaurus given the spiked tail and the aforementioned side spikes.
i thought they were a little behind the shoulders... but after consulting Google, i stand corrected.still that might have been what they were going for

Looks like a Zoid but dam he looks pretty bad ass he is a great dino beast the pink is kind of off would prefer red instead and is cool that they put rubber parts because it would brake very easy. Huuu the transformation is awesome and that robot mode is bad ass. And having double swords just make it look epic. Great review and thanks for sharing man

Slug didn't look very colorful) However, in the TF3 trailer there was a reveal shot of sentinel that was not very colorful, and they used the same shot in the movie, and he was made red. Now that's not to say this movie will be better for it (if they are colored), but it's possibly one less concern
More reviews I see of this line more models go right ti the shopping cart... I'll think about the Platinum Optimus/Grimlock set just to save time (and maybe money since here a Voyager runs on the 50/60 dollars).

For some reason, it bugs me that Grimlock doesn't have a sword and Slug doesn't have something that would make more sense for such a lwell armored dinobot...like an ax, or...you know, a a giant mace, but whatever, not every Grimlock has to have a giant flaming sword of righteousness and not ever Slug/Slag has to have a weapon that better suits his personality.
That's basically how I felt about the AoE stuff as a whole. The "I-hate-movieverse-oh -dang-it-that's-kinda-cool" part, not the "fill-the-comments-section-with-your- fiery-burning-rage" bit
The altmode, i have no love for the head with the teeth and the chinhorns. The figure looks great in botmode, very nice design. The rubbery swords are really crap those things will droop like old women breasts in no time.
who the hell at hasbro decided on these colors, brutal!! the figure is ok nothing id go outta my way for, not impressed with dino mode at all......robot mode is ok, but the head scalp isnt that impressive either. Good job on the review though
Wow, not one of the figures from this entire line has even remotely enticed me. Their Optimus looks simply horrendously bad, the Grimlock is hilarious, and most of the rest are either really generic or just plain badly thought out.

I do not care for the stationary hind legs in dino mode, but the deluxe dinobots have so far bested their leader in aesthetic and playability.

I bought Grimlock & Slug (haven't found a Scorn yet) and I must say, I really love them.
Voyager Grimlock. I'm not Leader Class rich. Plus Leader Grimlock's rex mode looks terrible.
