Seriously... they have so many great things to say. There are always times when we feel like a piece of shit. But in most cases we over judge. You can relapse, just be aware of your choices and be happy with ur decisions. We can’t change our lives as easily but we can change our perception. Be kind to yourself and remember the small victories along the way. It’s also important not to be overly happy too, it usually leads to a crash and depression. Balance is key.... work and play every single day. Never miss a day of relaxation. Whatever people say to u is a white lie, the thoughts we have are literally just “thoughts” they have no life until we give them. This all sounds good on paper but application is the way you get there. Try meditating, try decreasing your practice sessions and slowly build up, try noting every time you get lost in your head everyday. You have no idea how many times you’ll catch yourself thinking negatively. I’m still fighting my way everyday and I wish you all the best

superstarrr121 but in reality, if you think like this, you’re quality of life drastically improves. Try it or you’ll never know. I started working extra because I knew going easy meant I would push myself even harder. It’s great that u push yourself to the max, but just don’t burn out, and I wish u all the best. Consistency all the way through without falling off is what I wanna do. I never want to stop learning and engaging. But if I can do it in a fun way, I will do that. And even if that makes people wimps, they should do it regardless. The benefits outweighs the cons so much. I was in your place too, trust me it can always get better :)

Hustle until your haters ask if you're hiring. The struggle you're in today is developing the strength you need for tomorrow. Don't give up! Let me just share with you guys. We own a cookie shop business in our college town. When we first started it, we were living in our car with very little direction, just a huge passion to be successful. We just graduated college as well. We started a cookie shop out of a local bagel shop in their off hours at night. We were living in our car in the parking lot of the shop at the time with my boyfriend, Bran. It was a crazy experience but it worked! We became a success! And how we have our first storefront location (a second launching soon!) We started it to fund a year long backpacking trip around the world and to be successful while living the life of our dreams.

I actually LOVED hearing about this concept of moving back in with your parents at the age of 40. Though “controversial” the Asian community is built on this “joint-family” system where husbands even with their wives and kids live with their parents. Coming to a point where once the parents supported their kid into late single adulthood, and then the kids take over paying once more stable and begin serving their parents back. I am 20 and live with my amazing parents, and unless I go out of state for grad school I am happy to pay cheaper rent, and have my supportive family around.

I own a 6-figure business and moved in with my mother 6 months ago with my husband (no kids). We own a few rental properties and now we have three working ADULTS combining our efforts and paychecks, reducing every bill by 66% and stockpiling cash for when the next recession comes to purchase homes in our favor. Best decision I ever made and my mother is an awesome cook.

So needed to see this so far. Everyone said sorry when I left a toxic relationship. Let the person keep the place. I went to my moms. I sold all my vehicles and left my job. I went back to my hometown. I let every person saying sorry to me understand this is the happiest time in my life. I live very stress free. I now live in my apt that is really nice and very affordable and a nice little small town.

Splitting off into single family homes is a very recent phenomenon, and I argue that it is highly unnatural and has created a lot of pressure, anxiety, consumerism and loneliness, as well as not having support structures - family wealth, built-in care for the ill, for babies, for seniors, etc. Extended family is a natural emotional and financial support structure that we no longer have.

23:30 This really touched a sensitive spot, right there. I used to do this for years and, for different reasons, decided that seeing my mom once every 3 months was more than enough, I started getting answers to a lot of things, started being happier and a lot less stressed. I'm even back to an acceptable kind of sleep! I even have a lot more motivation to do stuff that are meaningful to me. I'm also complaining less about everything (I still do it, nobody's perfect, but I'm working on it) and yeah... This really changes somebody.

I love having and listening to deep conversations like these. If you are competent enough, go as deep as possible and spend as much time there as you can. Talk to yourself if you have to. It’s even better if you have someone who you can go there with.
You WILL gain a greater understanding of life. Which will more than likely help you uncover and heal from mental or spiritual issues you weren’t even aware you’ve been suffering from
I wish the best for everyone in finding what they’re looking for 😌🙏

Thanks for sharing, I by far haven't seen all videos from Gary (is that even possible??) but, never seen him speaking in that kind of way you brought him to.

Solid advice from Gary. I especially liked his bit on finding meaning in life. I think it really does depend on the people you surround yourself with on a day to day basis. There are those that think life's out to get them, or that they're too slated in one way that it's too late to change. I'm not sure where I heard this from but the way you hang your head says a lot about you.

That's what I always say too, social media is a tool and it's up to you how you use it. I am so grateful for Facebook, having family and friends scattered all over the world , I get to see what they are up to, see my nephews grow up etc. My Facebook is however very minimal with only a handful of close people added as friends.
