- Howdy! Today, We're Harvesting a Corn Test Plot, But What is a Test Plot and Why do we Harvest Them?
My name is Elijah and I'm 15, 4th Generation Farmer. We farm 2000 acres of corn and soybeans in central Virginia. I run the Grain Cart with a John Deere 8235R and Corn Planter with a John Deere 7530. I mow during the summers with a John Deere Z960M Zero Turn.

Are you all in Madison township on Rt 29 south of Luray; west of Culpepper? Used to pass through there in the 1960's. Beautiful country. My ancestors are from those parts too.
