I was looking on TH-cam how to do beautiful arrangement with flowers, succulents, cactus, planter boxes, windows boxes, etc and I never thought I can found a person like you, with so many wonderful ideas! I started to see your videos about a month ago, since we bought our house.Thank you so very much for taking the time to show us all you know about plants. I really enjoy all your videos every day. :)👍😊
Watching all of your air plant succulent videos since I was brave enough to buy 7 new air plants after killing 2 last year 😶 I won't fail this time! Your creations are stunning!
+Joanie Miller I'm so happy to hear that! I'm encouraged and inspired by so many, that it's fun to know that our videos are doing that for someone else! :) That's why we do it!
The moss that you use to build up a retaining wall is hot glued in place. Is that an ornamental moss or living? I enjoy your videos very much and find a lot inspiration in them. Thank you.
Your arrangement is beautiful, can you please advise how you would water the cacti and the air plants don’t they need different types of watering, thank you!
Your arrangement is beautiful. We just had Matthew go through and a lot of limbs came down with air plants on them. Some really big and some small. I see where it talks about submerging the plants couple of times a week as misting them did not give enough water. If you make an arrangement like you did and hot glue it to driftwood then how do you water them.
This was great! I'm now following you, a suggestion, tell the name of the plants and what they are, for example which ones are air plants? I'm a novice and the info would be appreciated! Thanks for the video!
Marlene Cabrera Thank you so much! A local gal actually brought these rocks to me-she found it in the hills that surround our area. I love to always be on the lookout for neat pieces of wood, rocks, etc., when I'm out and about! The arrangement will last for some time. I usually don't fertilize succulents as much when they are planted in a small space so they don't grow out of as quickly. ~Laura
Anil Gaurav Thank you! This rock was actually brought to me by a local gal who found it in the hills that surround our area. I love to always be on the lookout for neat pieces of wood, rocks, etc., when I'm out and about! Since the soil reservoir is really small in this planter and my area is so hot and dry, I'll probably give it a little water once a week (possibly twice a week in the hottest part of the summer). ~Laura
+K D Hughes Thank you! It will last for a while by taking cuttings from the succulents and giving it proper light and water. Naturally, since the soil reservoir is so tiny, I will eventually separate and repot them. It's fun to enjoy them like this for awhile though! :)
I must know, where did you acquire the rocks you used in the arrangements? Are they purchased or are they created with some concrete or a hypertufa method?
+Robin Ivey These rocks came from a customer at the nursery where I work, so I am unsure of where exactly they came from! She said they came from her yard, so I'm thinking they were natural...maybe. Sorry I can't be of more help with that!
Where do you find this type rock. I've looked on the net to no success. Of course, the weight of these rocks would increase the S&H by a large amt. I absolutely love what you did. Beautiful!
You can use glue to attach airplants by their roots (not their leaves). The only purpose of their roots is to attach to things- they absorb all the nutrients and moisture they need through the air. So, they did great! :) No worries!

I mist them every few days when they are incorporated into a driftwood arrangement like this one! :)

There are glue guns with differing heat levels.
So pretty! But, how long will this last? Then what?
+K D Hughes Thank you! It will last for a while by taking cuttings from the succulents and giving it proper light and water. Naturally, since the soil reservoir is so tiny, I will eventually separate and repot them. It's fun to enjoy them like this for awhile though! :)
Thank you, they are so attractive!
beautiful!
+Bluesy Jay Thank you so much!
Unbelievable. Where did you get the rocks
I must know, where did you acquire the rocks you used in the arrangements? Are they purchased or are they created with some concrete or a hypertufa method?

+Jesse Betsill A customer brought this rock in for me to plant, so I'm not sure where to find anything quite like it. Sorry I'm not more help!

+Zhanna Palson Yes
Thank you so much for the answer. I am currently learning about air plant for a project and was wondering the same thing
yes but if you don't have a humid enough environment it will die and you won't be able to to take it off for soaking

wow those poor air plants with that hot glue :( they probably didn't live long after this.
You can use glue to attach airplants by their roots (not their leaves). The only purpose of their roots is to attach to things- they absorb all the nutrients and moisture they need through the air. So, they did great! :) No worries!
How are you supposed to soak them if they're glued?
Some people just mist them
KILL THE MUSIC.
slower!!!
LET ME PLACE YOUR BODY ON HOT GLUE! Plants are living an feel pain. 😨😲😲😲😓😧
You have to watch her other video about it. She states that she waits until the hot glue has cooled and it's only tacky before any plants touch it.
I cringed at 2:26 when she hot glued that succulent 😩
It doesn't hurt them
let me guess - you are vegan as well as rude
