Thanks for the video and summary. You're a great speaker. Very easy to follow. Unfortunately, the match got cut off once the first set finished here in the UK so I missed the rest of the match lol. The BBC aired another event. (They tend to do that because of the many events, but it was a little annoying lol). I'm happy for Nole for the win, and Carlos for having a fantastic couple of months. I love seeing the emotions both players displayed. Passion at its best. You're right. Some of the shots he was getting back was incredible. I believe if he broke Nole in that first set, then he would've taken it. But it was Djoko's day. I remember when Bolt won his final gold in the Olympics, he said his motivation went straight down. He had no desire to continue so he retired. I wonder if Djoko feels the same way. Only time will tell. Whatever happens I'm so happy I watched him throughout his career alongside Fed, Rafa and also Murray battle it out. They were so memorable. It's funny as my younger brother is just starting to get into tennis but I tell him he's missed the golden era. He responds by talking about Carlos and Sinner. Maybe he has a point. We may be entering into yet another super era :)
Novak is the only player in the history of tennis to win all 4 majors, ATP finals, olympic Gold, and all 9 masters! These are called the big titles of tennis! This whole year I had a feeling that it was not just about form or age, but about motivation. He was motivated this Olympics. I disagree he was better than his Turin final though, which was last year.
Dont chalk this up to clay. Remember Djokovic beat him on the fastest court in the world cincinati. That wombledon match would have been much closer if djokovic wasnt 3 weeks removed from knee surgery. This is more indicative how close this rivalry is.
Cinnicanti is not the fastest court in the world. Montreal is faster than Cinnicanti. Shanghai is even faster than Montreal. AO is even faster than shanghai
@@sppecials606 Hmmm. I didn't think Wimbledon would be faster than Turin. In recent years, it appeared to me that the Wimbledon courts have become slower.
Well it was fun seeing the game of tennis. They may have to get new events just due to Djokovic winning everything, maybe creating new surfaces so players have a chance to recomplete the game of tennis (which will never be done again). What a guy!!
Where is Toni Nadal and everyone who said that Novak couldn t beat Alcaraz or Sinner? Now, the new excuse is the five set match. Alcaraz doesn t have a career long enough to say that he would beat Novak in 5 sets. Novak is the one who proved how great he is in a five set match. The bullshit that Alcaraz prefers fast surfaces is bullshit! Alcaraz complained like a bitch about how fast was the surface at the semi finals in Atp Tour championship finals. Cut the crap and your excuses. Alcaraz defeated a one leg Djokovic at Wimbledon.
Say it again brother! AMEN! Making excuses for the eventual 15+ GS winning Alcaraz is pathetic when he clearly played one of the best -- if not the best -- match of his life. That it came in a loss is just testament to the GOAT at his vintage best.
Alcaraz played Djokovic two times on hard and lost all these matches. With this version of Djokovic, Alcaraz would not have chance on any surface. Djokovic had no chance against Alcaraz in Wimbledon because he had no training before tournament, just rehab after knee operation.
@@punns643 Well this man quite litteraly beat the game. There's nothing more for him to win, for he won everything there was. He litteraly finished tennis.

Not really true. You should go back to Alcaraz's comments in 2023 regarding the ATP Final. The ATP Final held in Torino at a higher altitude is the fastest surface in the tour. And Djokovic just loves it by winning twice already since it was held in Torino. He just couldn't get used to it and he admitted that he had to work on that after his defeat by Djokovic.
This match reminded me of Novak’s 2019 Wimbledon final vs Roger. It was a close match that went 5 sets with Roger having the edge overall, but Novak won the key points when it mattered.
I am proud of Novak. A man who cannot be broken. Even the kangaroos in 2022 could not defeat him. He sent the elites where they belong, which is in the cesspool. And that was the only place where he could still beat Carlos, in two sets. He wouldn't survive the third one. And Novak knew it.
Djokovic could retire after this. Simply amazing he won. All the odds makers had Alcaraz winning. I’m a Federer fan, but can simply say Djokovic is the best.
“the heaviness that he has in his game, the height, doesn’t bother Djokovic like it does other players” Well, that’s because Novak has been on a steady diet of Nadal’s heavy topspin forehands for the better part of 20 years.
Congratulations to Novak for his gold but I must commend Carlos for his silver too. They both played a tremendous match. It amazes me that all of Carlos' opponents have to raise their level to defeat a 21 year old beast. Carlos will get the gold in the future but until then he will continue to rack up titles.

@@nikhils2381, I hope he gets 100 match wins at all four Grand Slams. He’s very close. I also hope he can win Monte Carlo one more time to make it 3x for all 9 master 1000s - which no one else has done even once!
Don't make excuses for Carlos Mr Slicetennis!!!
I didn't believe Djokovic can Do, he prove me wrong again.
Something above wanted him to win it and he did it..
Best of 3 also favoured him more..
Well done Nole,it was meant to be..
16 years later after his loss at Olympics tto Nadal he beats Nadal and Alcaraz who beat him 3 weeks ago in W final to win his first gold medal becoming Novak Goldkovic !!!!
Greatest Player Ever. Greatest Sportsman Ever. Novak Djokovic / Michael Jordan.

Djokovic needs to win 1 more Grand slam to create all time Record in Tennis history before his retirement
Hope, Djokovic wins US open 2024
he already did it. I suppose you compare with Margaret, who doesnt win all slams in Open Era
Joko ne joue que pour les médailles et les records mais jamais avec passion c est ce qui le diffencie de NADAL ET FEDERERE
Novak is a cheat code for tennis🐐 Fedals and Alcaraz fans with massive amounts of egg on their faces right now🤪
Federer lost to Murray his gold opportunitie, playing very apathic an uninterested.
What a match! Im an alcaraz fan but you have to take your hat off to Novak. He is a champion through and through, and a class act. The GOAT CV is officially complete (if it wasn't already lol) and great to see how much it means to him. I hope we get to see many more of these epic matches! What a time to be a tennis fan 👌
Vintage Djokovic at 37 years is stunning ❤
Nole was clutch in those tie breaks. So it could not have gone both ways
In fact hes won the masters twice over and slams 3 times over. Add to that most weeks no.1 428 and most year ends 8!
For context noone else has won all 9 masters!
Federer is missing a gold medal and 2 masters.
Nadal is missing masters and ATP final.
Agassi comes the closest winning all 4 slams, Olympic Gold and ATP final but is missing masters.
GOAT of All GOAT Sports
Puis après
He had ferroro in the box.. and Djokovic won this entire tournament without dropping a set beating clay court experts like Nadal,tsitipas,Alcatraz,musetti.. undisputed GOAT 🐐 Idemooo❤
i remeber how happy you hwere when you said alcaraz destroyed djoko in the wimbeldon final hah
yes now he will not be excited.. such a hater.
He's definitely not excited 😅😅😂😂😂
He buys Federer pubes online to suck on.
What happened to your voice? 😂 .hater ...
@thusithjayasuriya1681 his voice sounds exactly the same as in the prediction video. You clowns always have to find something negative to comment about
Most people didnt think he will win... even I have doubts, and now I'm so emotional because he did it... That's how legend are made!!
I'm sorry for your loss. 😂
@@tonyh4807 ATP finals Turin is the fastest court in the world I think. Alcaraz himself said last year that he didn't like it.
@@nikhils2381 though he likes wimbledon which is even faster lol.
@@sppecials606 Hmmm. I didn't think Wimbledon would be faster than Turin. In recent years, it appeared to me that the Wimbledon courts have become slower.
@@tonyh4807 nope wrong
Bravo, bravo , bravo Djokovic !!!!
Well it was fun seeing the game of tennis. They may have to get new events just due to Djokovic winning everything, maybe creating new surfaces so players have a chance to recomplete the game of tennis (which will never be done again). What a guy!!
The way everyone is talking about tennis being completed, you’d think every tennis court now becomes a pickleball court! 😂😂😂
@@HJohn-xn9ub man after what Djokovic has practically done to it, maybe they should 🤣🤣
SOUTH AFRICA LOVES YOU NOLE ❤❤ WE ARE SELEBRATING YOU ❤❤❤OUR NELSON MANDELA OF TENNIS PERIOD THE STREETS ARE BUZZING 😂😂❤❤ THE DEFIANT ONE 😂
What a year. People writing him off because he didn’t win a big title this year. The Olympic Gold negates everything. Made up for the loses.
Thanks for the report. Very good stuff
Respectful coverage 👍
Alcaraz played Djokovic two times on hard and lost all these matches. With this version of Djokovic, Alcaraz would not have chance on any surface. Djokovic had no chance against Alcaraz in Wimbledon because he had no training before tournament, just rehab after knee operation.
So true man, so true, so well said.
Steven devastated.. Now the only one out of the big 3 even 4 is his favourite Federer.
After this win we are expecting from Djokovic at least 5 more 🏆 🏆 🎉to 💫🇷🇸🏆🎾🥇🏆🇷🇸💫🥇🎾🥳
Make that 15😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁
Congratulations
The game is officially over. The King has claimed his rightful throne, and his name is Novak Djokovic. 👑
The game is and always will be bigger than the player past and future
@@punns643 Well this man quite litteraly beat the game. There's nothing more for him to win, for he won everything there was.
He litteraly finished tennis.
The goat closed the disscussion
Mentally - no greater athlete has ever existed! The adversity this man has had to overcome all throughout his career (time and time again), is simply staggering and mind-boggling -- almost impossible to even comprehend for mortal men. Other players may be athletes, but are not athletic; Djoker is in the exosphere on that on. Such a brilliant athlete, and so bloody athletic - unmatched by anyone in any sport. His mental game, strength and mindset is on a Matrix level...the GOAT of GOAT'S!!!!!
Just got the impression that his movement was so much better than at Wimbledon and gave him that platform to use his skillset and experience to edge out alcaraz kudos to both players for a great final, I'm just hoping for a fantastic finish to the year with the us open win for djokovic to turn a rare terrible season into possibly his greatest either way thank you novak for reviving my faith that no matter your age that you still have it and will always be my greatest of all time ❤
Remember when you said the GOAT debate is over, all three of them are the goats?
Now you were absolutely wrong on your rubbish prediction!!,
So were many others.
Great comments and analysis.
One more gold for Serbia.
Alcaraz did not engineer one mini break in either of the tie breaks. That was the difference. Pure clutch from Novak.
You forget, weeks like number 1, years ending like number 1, All Masters twice, Golden Masters, most Masters, most GS, Nole Slam, most points ever 16950Atp… Only man to win all 4GS at least 3 times…. etc etc…😉😊
Thanks man , all the best from Serbia 🇷🇸🎩💪🏽
bravo for analysis
He actually did have Juan Carlos in his box, if you look at the warmup they show him in there
Weird I did not see him, but that’s my bad
@@theslicetennisHe had David Ferrer in his box too lol. He had extra support and help. He was practicing with Ferrer yesterday.
@@theslicetennis Stop with your WOKE nonsense.
Not very good at understanding Novak are you 😅
ha ha he will never give credit to Novak . we have been watching him for years
Not really true.
Great analysis.
Novak took alecaraz off the baseline thats what changed from 3 weeks ago this match. Novak saw that he cant beat alcaraz on the baseline
Nole...GOAT. Hvala ti, volimo te!🇷🇸 Thank you, we love you!❤❤❤
This match reminded me of Novak’s 2019 Wimbledon final vs Roger.
Yeahhhh Brate 💪🇷🇸👍
You obviously didn't watch the match because Alkaraz had Ferero in his box!
And against one of the hardest opponents you can imagine... Carlos Alcaraz.
Do you guys think this was his last dance in tennis history?
Nope.
Djokovic could retire after this. Simply amazing he won. All the odds makers had Alcaraz winning. I’m a Federer fan, but can simply say Djokovic is the best.
“the heaviness that he has in his game, the height, doesn’t bother Djokovic like it does other players”
Well, that’s because Novak has been on a steady diet of Nadal’s heavy topspin forehands for the better part of 20 years.
Thank you for being honest
That's everything good luck nole...❤❤❤
GOAT!
WOW! UNBELIEVABLE! ❤❤❤❤❤
We saw the best tennis today. We saw the best players today. ❤❤
Congratulations to Novak for his gold but I must commend Carlos for his silver too. They both played a tremendous match. It amazes me that all of Carlos' opponents have to raise their level to defeat a 21 year old beast. Carlos will get the gold in the future but until then he will continue to rack up titles.
