The Kardex Remstar Shuttle XP Vertical Lift Module provides high-density storage in a compact footprint with fast access to stored materials. The Shuttle XP automatically delivers large trays with stored parts to an access window with a push of a button. The storage machine will automatically scan the height of the item to be stored and then store the tray within the Shuttle to maximize storage. Inside the Shuttle, trays are stored on both sides of the unit with an extractor device that travels up and down the center of the Shuttle to store and retrieve trays.
Utilizing overhead space, the Shuttle recovers up to 85% of the floorspace required by conventional shelving systems. The Shuttle delivers parts directly to the worker to increase picking productivity up to 2/3 and improve ergonomics and worker safety.
