Warehouse Space Optimization with Modula’s Lifts for Enercon Technologies

Enercon Technologies is a fully integrated design and build center for electronics instrumentation, specializing in medical devices life sciences, military and industrial instrumentation.
Before the introduction of Modula automated storage solutions, they were operating out of a 30,000 sq. ft. manufacturing space, with half of the facility space tied up with inventory on racking systems.
With the installation of the 6 Modula vertical lift modules, they are now storing over 6,749 ft2 (627 m2) of storage in less than 538 ft2 (50 m2) which will offer them ample room for future growth.

Hi,
To pick a material, what I need to do ? Enter Material, or Bin ?
How this system knows at which ROW is my material OR How material is mapped to each ROW ?

Hi Jay, our WMS software is used to map the tray of the VLM. With Modula’s automatic storage systems everything is already set up. The picking can be done reading the code with a barcode or by executing an order received from the ERP. The Copilot console replaces the RF scanner, and the operator sees what to pick as well as the quantity directly from the console, until the completion of the picking activity.

Hi Susan, Modula has a colour graphical interface with simple icons that are extremely intuitive and does not require any particular operator training for everyday operation 😉

hi i work in a manufcaturing company. i am having a project in warehouse develpoment. i want ton know how many trays does it have in 1 Modula Lift? in exmple in 5 meter height. i dont see any numbers of trays in your website catalogue. cpuld you send me response ASAP?
