Honestly blessed d'hide doesn't deserve to give that much prayer bonus for its cost, and yet it does anyway, one of my favorite late-mid game pieces of equipment.

Staff of the dead is one of the most underrated items IMO also for a couple of reasons:
1. It’s only like 4m currently
2. 15% magic damage is HUGE
3. It is one of the few staves that can autocast arcceus spells
4. When upgraded, it has the best melee stats of any staves for added versatility in fights
I didn’t realize staff of the dead had that high of a damage bonus. I wonder how it does against the kodai in the inferno? 🤨
@@runewraith it's identical apart from -3 accuracy and slightly higher rune usage (assuming toxic staff of dead, regular sotd is -11)
@RuneWraith biggest difference is kodai can auto cast ancient magic, which can be useful for blood barrage while flicking. Upgraded ancient staff or nightmare staff are recommended if you can't get Kodai.
@@Squatnation I don't use ancients anywhere where I'd want to flick. I'll take the damage boost over auto casting any day. Autocasting also has a one tick delay that makes it slower than manual casting.
@sk8rdman in the inferno specifically it's very helpful, particularly for first capers on 60+ so you can auto cast on a mage or range and flick to conserve prayer.
The rune pouch would be a 2-3 inventory space saver not 3-4 :p it takes a space itself but still, agreed it’s 100% worth

IMO i think Barbarian Assault culture has become bad. People drop out before the Queen much more now then they have trough the years.
@@EasyonlineID Maybe but there is no reason not to do the queen and getting torso gives decent progress to all level 5 roles.
Much respect for all of you rockstars who get a torso. I would rather shove pins in my eyes before spending that much time in that mini-game. Lol

Feel like its worth pointing out that the fang is nearly BIS at everywhere the DHL is. If you cant afford both, the fang is a way better choice
Great video! I disagree with your zenyte order though. I don't do much zulrah and I can't think of many other places I would bring a ring of suffering over a beserker/archers ring. I guess which you go for first is dependent on what you do for money, that way you can use the first zenyte to start earning money for the others.
I figured lots of people may feel differently about the order and that’s totally understandable. People have different goals and bosses they like to grind and that helps to determine the best order for zenyte jewelry!

I just came back after a 1650 Daybreak and right before going on that break I was on a heavy Quest grind and completed desert treasure to unlock the ancient spell book and I got heavy into Slayer got all of my combat skills including magic and range into the low 80s Slayer into the upper 60s and purchased an imbued heart for about maybe 8m I was using it to do bursting Slayer tasks and was also taking it to ape atoll to just AFK burst Undead monkeys or whatever they are called and thankfully I kept it and was gone for over 3 years then randomly I had a osrs video pop up and started watching it and I heard them mention the imbued heart being a good item to have but mentioning it was worth over 100 million gold and I have never had that amount of gold so I immediately went and purchased a bond to sell the one that I had been holding on to for close to 4 years my bank is now worth almost 200 million gold all from purchasing the imbued heart 4 years ago my bank was out about 60 million in gear and Slayer loot that I planned on using High Alchemy on gear consisting of dragon crossbow every set of Barrows, Dragon scimitar, tentacle whip, regular whip, fighter torso has saved me a good 30m on bandos, I have some type of flail that is charged by the remnants I don't even remember why I bought it I just know I can't sell it back to the Grand Exchange Abyssal bludgeon pretty sure I bought that as an alternative to train strength with probably worth selling it rather than keeping it, abyssal dagger 3m probably better than the dragon Scimitar as far as training strength goes since it has the option to train strength and is stronger than a DDS everything I just named off accumulated to about 50 or 60 million gold and then I had the imbued heart which I bought for either 6 million or 8 million and resold for 100 million gold I haven't done anything with said gold yet and will probably just let it sit in my bank for a while to be honest I'm still not playing full-time and actually playing RuneScape classic the new Coliseum just came out and you are supposed to be able to make local Millions per hour just farming the first wave that's probably what I will do when I start playing again full time but right now I'm only on mobile and I don't know if I feel comfortable doing that on mobile

A couple additions that aren’t mentioned often are: guardian boots (great defense w/ mix of prayer and strength) for 2mil, and the dragonbone necklace necklace (+12 prayer and same combat accuracy bonus as fury) for only 80k.
I wonder how much the dragonbone necklace would be if it gave the same melee strength bonus as the fury, just no defense bonuses. that prayer boost is no joke
True! I love my guardian boots and the dragonbone necklace doesn’t get a lot of attention because generally str and damage bonus > prayer in most scenarios but the prayer and offensive bonuses are no joke. you are correct they definitely deserve a spot on this list!
Need more of this in the community. About what items are best to get each step vs buying bandos chest for example.

the cost of power creep takes the piss in this game honestly higher level gear costs so much more for diminishing returns, for example the difference between dragon boots 150k and prim boots 33m is +1 str bonus and some negligible defense stats we are talking single digit. they really need to add more gear to branch between stuff like they did with the t65 zombie axe, going from a crystal bow 500-700k to the next tier bow being 110m+ is a joke

How would you rank the DH X-Bow?
I’m honestly getting ready to sell mine. My primary uses for it are KBD, and brutal black dragons. I really never do kbd and there are better money makers than brutal blacks so I ended up un-extending them from my slayer tasks. I use the Lance at vorkath.
I think it’s better than bofa on olms head in chamber but I’m not sure by how much and I can’t justify 50m for slightly more dps in 1 phase of the olm fight.
Low key anything like the rune pouch or item bag should literally cost 1b gp. It’s invaluable

idk man, i feel like i been ripped off 35mil dex scroll because of new prayer book.
Dex is still worth it imo. The new prayer book may get a full on rework or just not happen at all based on the major power creep that was discovered during the beta. If they are even remotely close to what was in the beta the prayer scrolls for the new book will be 80m+ and on the day of release maybe even like 200m

A rune pouch with 3 runes saves 2 inventory slots, not 3
I was thinking about it like: 3 types of runes + 1 rune pouch = 4 slots. Once the runes go in the pouch it becomes 1 slot thus 3 slots saved.

Con cape, fire cape, infernal cape, crafting cape, and max cape of course. I use my farming cape as a makeshift con+crafting cape since there is a bank and spirit tree back to my PoH at the farming guild.

I wonder why DWH is not on the list. It's below 30mil these days, and it is damn near required at most bosses. And some it just helps you kill faster and more reliably.
Of course you will want a whip etc stuff first. But like in my opinion a DWH is something you should buy after the Osmumten's fang, if not even before you get it. Depends a bit on what you want to do. Fang might be better if you want to spam TOA. Hammer will be better if you want to grind Vorkath etc.
Grinded vork to pet drop at 634 with like 2 min kills or so I don't remember with no dwh it is in no way a must for bossing lol never used one and still haven't less I can but I'd sat it's low on my need list.

Okay ik for most people the gp required for this stuff is easily attainable but I can't make gp for shit. Been trying to save for a Dragon Hunter Lance for months now and I can't get the stack above 15 mil, it just fluctuates up and down. Especially sucks that the DH Lance is worth 2/3's the value of my entire bank (just scraping 60 mil barely with the cash stack)
That’s a tough spot to be in while your building wealth early on. Your skills will play a large part in making GP (especially combat skills). I made a good amount of GP doing Tombs of Amascut in budget gear with some small teams. It sounds like you just need 1-2 decent sized drops to get some money in the bank. You could also think about things like Bandos in the GWD or Demonic gorillas for a zenyte shard.
I’m not sure where you are at skill wise but I made a ton of money and combat experience just grinding out the corrupted gauntlet as well. Hope this helps some and good luck on the grind to DHL!
@RuneWraith thanks for the tips! I've just been in that rut as u said, tried doing GWD but had some difficulty. I recently grinded out all the skill requirements to get Quest cape, for perspective on account level, my lowest skill is 55 runecrafting, followed by 64 theiving and 66 fishing, everything else is 70 or higher. Combat level 95 (75 melee stats and Mage, 80 range and HP, 60 prayer). That's why I want the DHL so bad so I can grind vorkath alot easier for the cash after DS2. Haven't done very much bossing so the raids are exciting but a big challenge for me, can't do them efficiently for now. Same with riskier bosses in the wildy and Revs due to my extreme lack of pk skills outside of getting completely wiped (working on this in LMS)

Sara sword > Abyssal Whip. It's cheaper, it trains strength and has a better special attack.
Good points but you also miss out on a defender when you use the Sara sword so there’s a bit of a trade off there.

This video was enjoyable. but doesn’t really make sense. And this is just criticism about the video and not trying to be insulting. There was no consistency between what items recommended. Some were must haves, some felt just put it for shits and giggles. “Must haves” are generally goals anyone can achieve, but putting a bowfa, zenyte jewelry, even niche items like dhl (when you legit put the fang after) even saying get blessed dhide and then start talking about the tbow, just say get a tbow at this point. All that when 90%+ of players will never achieve a 100m bank.
Rune Shimitar?
A little surprised MSB isn't on here. Not completely surprised because content creators love to highlight the stuff nobody can afford, but I'm level 70+ ranged and still using the magic shortbow and have no complaints about it whatsoever. It's a cheap bow that you can get use out of for most of the early midgame.

Ah yeah expensive is definitely relative in OSRS but I tried to avoid obvious items like the “Twisted Bow - 1.2B”. Of course the t bow is an item you would want on your account hence the massive price tag.
Once you start bossing and higher level slayer the money will start rolling in so get those skills up in the meantime!
