Nice to see a couple EuroQuads still operating out of YVR, that Edelweiss A340 is a beauty. Love the blue stripy Condor A330 as well. Great footage as always!

Absolutely stunning video! I remember when the only way to watch videos from (to me) foreign airports was to buy grainy, barely watchable VHS tapes from ads in the back of Airliners magazine! Hello again my friend. This is you buddy from the States who is FINALLY able to write a comment. As with the others who have commented, thank-you for taking the time to video, edit, and post this great show for us. Your videos are always refreshingly great to view. But enough with the hugs and kisses... For me, there is nothing smoking through the air that is more esthetically pleasing than the A340. So a big thumbs up for Edelweiss Airlines for keeping those babies around. However, among the variants I prefer the -500 and -600s with their Trent engines cf. the -200 and -300 with CMF. I am not a huge fan of the completely enshrouded engines. I am still heartbroken with Lufthansa's current livery. Their earlier ones looked so much better. Nevertheless, I understand the reasoning for virtually all the commercial carriers opting for the two-tone, mostly white livery. I read somewhere that mostly white liveries increase the resale value of aircraft. Off hand, the most notable exception to this trend is New Zealand's all black with white trimming colors. Although hideously ugly in my opinion, I give the airline a big thumbs up for going against the trend. And if there are not enough comments about Condor's zebra-Serengeti dressing. However, I did some quick research a while back, and somewhere in the back of the company's head-honcho's head was the idea that their current livery was to remind travelers of going to the beach to enjoy the waves, sand, and sun (burn). No matter how hard I try to remember, I cannot think of any beach in any part of the world resembling Condor's livery. Maybe it is to resemble beach chairs? I "dunno". Again, thank-you for your video. I hope to be able to comment on your future ones, since I really enjoy viewing them and giving you feedback.

Always hear it from the hill but have never been sure what it signifies.
Thank-you for your comment. I love the adjective you used, "epileptic". This is the first time I've heard the term applied the way you did - LOVE IT! I tried listening carefully to the "bell" sound you mentioned. To me, it mostly sounded like part of the jet engine noise. However, given your hearing is better than mine, the only other bell sound I hear repeatedly at big airports is the ringing noise that serves as a warning when the jet bridge is moving to and from an aircraft. Regardless, I hope eyetrapper can shed more light on it.

The new colors of the Condor are intended to create a holiday feeling. The stripes are reminiscent of the colors of beach towels from the 70s. Germans in particular understand the meaning behind it. 😊❤  
I totally can't understand how Condor can screw up their livery to that extent! Looks almost comical! Shame on their management's poor decision making! Great video as always, Eye Trapper!

They had no nerv to find a city or a province name ( Hessen, Sachsen ec...) for our D-ABVZ ? 😢 Every Lufthansa plane carries the name of a German city or state. Hmmm.....
That Condor is uh....unique...not sure if I'm a fan or not. The Lufthansa 747...a timeless classic.
Condor has this kinda liveries already a while in different colours.

That new Condor A 330-9 didn't had a lot of landings. Normally the wheels on the main gear are black from that brake dust.

The CONDOR livery is ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE . Unfortunately, we'll be seeing it for at least 10 more years.
