The show was in London, of all places, the crowd there probably would've been a bit more emphatic. In 200-fucking 3, probably the equivalent of a 1922, 1984 and 2017, of all the 'news' you choose to cover while the iron on Iraq was still hot, is outrage over a pop country group speaking their minds. Also, Ted Cruz, very fitting you call the "entire South", "Texas" but know the term "diminutive", ha.
They paid a high price for telling the truth back then but funny enough after the truth came out and everybody realised that they were right all along nobody apologised to them. Respect truly earned and I wish them all the luck in the world...

March, march to my own drum
Welcome back ladies 💐⭐😘🎶 CHICKS!! Love 🌷J.
So nice to see these ladies still together and making music
Loved you girls since universal rehearsal, my band was there to. Yall was so down to earth and sweet.
Yay! I am so excited you ladies are BACK! I will definitely see your tour, after it is safe to do so. I stopped this interview to go download the album and listen to “Gaslighter,” before finishing.
I've loved them since college! So happy that they're still kicking ass!
As a woman, I feel "Chicks" is fine. Check out the SF series "Chicks in Chainmail". No weak women there.
Love them, and love their spin off project "The Court Yard Hounds"
Best thing that ever happened to them.
I agree. Some, not all artist, will be remembered for songs they sang, The Chicks will be remembered for going against the war machine that led to the disastrous invasion of Iraq. History will remember them not just for their talent but for their strength . No bad.
The term "Troops" has become popular but it really should be soldiers because they are individuals and troops dehumanizes them.
The Chicks kick ass!
The Chicks are the best! Glad to see them back with new music... Got Gaslighter yesterday - love it!!!!
1:40 Colbert: ''Were there other contenders for the name?''
Funny that she says ''Ducks''
LOVE these ladies! I’ve missed them!
Who gives a crap what they are called. They have awesome voices and lots of talent. Have liked them since they began.
WELCOME BACK LADIES ! I MISSED YOU AND YOUR MUSIC ! YOU SPEAK FOR WOMEN AND WE NEED A CLEAR VOICE ! BUSCH IS A DUSCH!
My husband is not a country fan and used to eye roll my fandom a bit. Well, "March, March" is now one of his favorite songs and with the name change and exposure to these women and their thoughtful personalities, he is now much more open to other country music in my collection.
I love them. So talented, so strong, and obviously on the right side of history.
Go Chicks!!! The new album sounds amazing!
31 years? Damn, I feel old. I feel like I need to sign up for that " I've fallen down and can't get up." alert thingy!
I love "The Chicks" and think it's the way to go forward. If Ted Cruz doesn't like it, that proves it's the right thing to do.
I never realized how much the sisters look alike
Hate to tell sean spicer there was already a band called the, the.
I don't care for country....but I love you!! I suport you 100% your music I will listen too!
I don't care much for country either, but I'm still a Chicks fan, especially when their Bluegrass roots shine through in their music.

The new album is wonderful. Set me Free is my favorite.
Nothing but mad love and respect for these brilliant women! ❤❤
Natalie with the "Peace & Love"...LOL...Awesome
A true Howard Super Fan!
I waited the whole video for a "Hit 'em with the Hein!" though....
no matter what they are calling themselves ;they are so amazing and always stood up for them ; have missed them and love their new music xo
As a progressive northwesterner, I disagree with them dropping "Dixie" from their name. It's almost as if they've "dislocated" themselves. It's not like they're waving Confederate flags all over the place...
LairMistress to each their own. However, I would argue: What does it matter what name they go by as long as they produce quality music?
@@chickensdone1 If it doesnt matter why change it?
Still a class act, would love to see them in Ireland 🇮🇪. They were so right about the Iraq 🇮🇶 conflict.
They should've kept making music they lost the country fan base but gained the attention of everyone else
Chumbawamba chanting "Free Mumia abu Jamal" when performing "Tubthumping" on Letterman's Late Show in 1997 was simply amazing. Look it up. That's the band we need today.
Every American who was not fooled by Fox News back then fully supported The Chicks and it's so wonderful to see you all again :)
Love these ladies!
I was never a country music fan (still not) and had not heard of the Dixie Chicks until the Bush backlash. I immediately purchased all their albums in support. I have been a fan ever since.
It's so good to see you all back
Great musicians! Hey Ladies!
Love and miss these ladies.
Welcome back you were missed
