When you are planning to visit Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, add time to spend at the Lancaster History Museum and tour Wheatland, the home of America's 15th President, James Buchanan. It is rare that you can have a guided tour through a home from the mid 1800's and find most of its original
furniture, window blinds, and decor, but at Wheatland you will see personal furnishings that James Buchanan owned and used while he owned this home from 1848 until his death in 1868. His desk that he took to Washington is on display as well.
