Just brilliant, dancing in the clubs back in the day when dancing was exactly that. Change, fantastic. 'Searching', 'A lovers holiday' and this, couldn't ask for much more, lets face it, if you can't dance to this you just can't dance.
Absolutely one of the most perfect songs ever!! I've listened to this song a million times and it still sounds as good as the 1st time! I found this mix about a year ago and I play guitar along with it almost every night. Great music like this is the best medicine for the soul.Big love and gratitude to God and all the people who made this song!
Change’s Paradise, is a masterpiece. The opening of the song, with its augmented slap bass guitar, is instantly recognizable in pop music history. The lead vocalist, had the voice of an angel. You’ll wanna hear it, over and over again. One of the best songs of the 80’s. Unforgettable music. Awe inspiring, spiritual, magical, epic pop music history.... Is Change.
Wow, I remember this classic because I was living in Texas at the time. This hit was before Luther went solo, two years later. The man was destined for many beautiful million seller songs, as a solo artist.
Takes me back to place in time that unless you were fortunate enough to have lived thru you'll never understand..cruising Saturday nights and Sunday afternoons interacting with people not texting..we who lived it were blessed..a wonderful time.
WOW,so very true indeed. I was telling my husband the very same thing. I was a little girl in the 1970s and a Teenager Lady in the 1980s. I surely do missed those two Decades💕
I lived in San Francisco 1978 & 1979 and spent a lot of my weekends at the Trocadero Transfer, mostly on Saturday nights, from 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. The music, the lighting and the people were so jubilant that you felt you had discovered paradise and never wanted to leave, even when the morning sun was starting to rise and the music had slowed down, signaling that it was time to go home. It was truly a most euphoric time to be alive, and, for all of us that were on that beautiful cloud 9, we still have golden moments of memories of that brief era that came and went, and sadly, with a tear in my eye, will probably never come back again.
This song came out during the last phase of the disco revolution: when we were still searching for paradise: not so willing to abandon it: reaching for the stars: staying high eternally.
This was so much my groove in 1981! i was 25 and the world was my oyster! This song made me rejoice! I was gay, happy, young and having a great time! I still am at 59!
I was not a great dancer. But I had moments when I could really get my lanky frame into it. This cut always opened up an opportunity for me to groove. Always was happy to dance to this with a really sweat lady in front of me.
I was a young kid in living in Barbados back in the 80's from the UK,and believe you me, The radio stations in Bardados played this Jam everyday, I would have loved to be in NYC and older at that time. :-)
This song reminds me of a close friend back at Scott AFB name Addie. We use to dance to this song until the would close down the Airmen's Club back in the early 1980's. I sure hope she see this post. I still miss you and will always love you.
One of my all time Favorites...This was the quiet Killer back in the day...Complete with a tight Groove and a magical melody that puts a smile in your heart. This Jam should have received more air play!
Muy excellante! Very few groups rarley produce beautiful songs that are hit after hit! Change is one of them! Their soundtract SHARING YOUR LOVE is downright priceless! This song PARADISE is a classic! Thank you 4 the download!
On a beau dire ou faire on revient toujours à Change. Whatever you say or do, Change comes back to you. A such unique sound is unforgetable and so stylish compared to pop songs released during that period.
Beautiful.I remember hearing this in Pagoda Park, Birmingham England in '86! Even though it was 5 then, it still sounded hot! This extension would have been fantastic then.
perfect is good word to describe this tune. playe dit at a ârty lasst saturday and people went nutzz!!!!! the song and the people`s reaction gave me goosebumps.
Awww man.... I've been searching for this for a while... Thank you!!!! It's a shame this time is gone... It's up to us to keep it pushing!!!!!! Never stop bringing it!!!!!

Your comment man is so good. Put it just right. This cut is massive. a beautiful, high energy and positive track. God bless you man. Live long, Live strong....live holy!
Wish the sound quality was better. I have the 12' European cut of this on vinyl and the highs are amazing as well as the bass! This is OK, but I'm still looking for a post with better sound quality. Gotta turn the volume up a lot to really hear what makes this masterpiece so great. Have not found one entry, yet, that has great sound quality. Oh well, I'll do my own. Saw them at the Beacon Theatre in NYC decades ago and they ROCKED this! Still missing Luther Vandross who was part of Change until 1981 when he left and had an amazing solo career!
I heard Grandmaster Flash remix this over 20 years ago on WBLS I was living in Newark New Jersey now I'm in Charlotte North Carolina still streaming WBLS Brian Dancy Charlotte North Carolina
WOW man I thought I was alone on that one and did not know exactly how to word it and get the point across. The intro is man so so good... This cut does something to me that feels so good. I am happy and all is well in life. Thanks for the comment.

This is how music should still be. Disco is one of my favorite types of music. This is a beautiful song.
Magic track from 1981. Why can't music like this be made today ?
the closure that the drummer makes at the end of the bar..(i'll take you there...) is simply brilliant!
Just brilliant, dancing in the clubs back in the day when dancing was exactly that. Change, fantastic. 'Searching', 'A lovers holiday' and this, couldn't ask for much more, lets face it, if you can't dance to this you just can't dance.
I' WILL NEVER FORGET...NEVER...TILL DOWN !!!
Thank you, LORD....🌞
Always loved this song. To be a teenager again.......!

From the beginning i really love the bassline of this song. No other music have this . Until now.
You need to listen to Nile Rodgers. He's the king of this kind of Bass Riff's

At least you got to still share it in spirit.peace
It's nice to hear a song about optimism again. I don't see how people can listen to one song after another bragging about money and materialism.
Old school....i love it
One of My Favorites of Change
That slammin bass
I remember this from the Paradise Garage in NYC!! Thank you for this. What an enlightening experience!

I'll get you to paradise, oh
Houses made of ecstasy
Around the rooms
So picturesque together

Romantic thoughts and not
Letting them fade away (oh, no)
