That looks sooo familiar, T-Rex's brother. Just got T-Rex a while ago. He is a 4x4 lifted Fiesta like Kevins. Have corresponded with Kevin and found him great to talk with. But the kindness he has shown you by given you the van is off the charts, totally awesome.
It was in my suggested videos (March 2021) Watched Eric's latest then watched rewatched Kevin's latest and saw this and thought hey Kevin has thick dark hair.
Najeeb Alkudcy Ya know what..... leave him alone... either support him or don't. Seems to me he is doing the best can for him and Jax. Beyond that, your opinion doesn't count for squat.
By support you mean nobody may express their opinions every now and then? To simply watch the videos and agreeing with all the decisions he make? Oh come on! Eric is just like any one of our real life friends, we shouldn't treat him any differently.
Great To see you got the van from Kevin. This is my first post on your channel. Been watching since you left the west coast. Been reading posts from other folks. The ones who keep putting you down really need help. Must be pretty sad in their lives. I think you are doing a great job and doing what others can only dream of doing. Praying for you and know God will keep on blessing you!
Kevin I would never believe there was so much room in them camper vans I am amazed at yours ,, its gorgeous,,,,,, and eric cant wait to see yours as it progresses, ,,, and I might say jaxs is a handsome boy lol and kevin your 2 yorkies are adorable,,,
You should do more interviews, Eric. They're an interesting change from the usual and you'd get lots of material you could use for a new documentary (or to add to your last one). The higher quality of the video/sound, the camera work and the editing make your videos a lot more watchable than most so it would be great if you leveraged your skills. Food for thought.
I agree with you. I learn things from his interviews as to how others are using their vehicle. I do hope he continues to do this. In my van, much like Kevin's, I have a small ham station installed. I also go places and set up my telescope for night time star viewing.
Golan...you're right. The quality of the filming, editing and clarity of the sound and picture move Eric's videos to the absolute front of the line in this category. Great suggestion. I hope he will consider it. (:
I agree with you somewhat. I think Eric could spend more time describing the area he is in, the road conditions, level of police activity from listening to a scanner, telling us more about the digital TV channels he comes across, weather conditions regarding high winds for those with high profile vehicles. I do like many of the things he brings up. I would rather see more scenery, a description of the types of houses he sees, condition of neighborhoods, types of markets, bank branches he comes across and so on. Yes, I would document things a bit different if it were me and the ways things are going in my life, that is exactly what I will most likely be doing within the next year. Unlike Eric, I am not bolting out the door and hitting the road from disgust from others (trolls?) but am preparing in a logical manner by making sure the brakes are in good shape, trans is 100% and so on. I don't want drama while on the road.
I have a 91 Ford Coachmen Class B. Same lay out, engine etc. Love mine like he loves his. Hard to beat if you can find a clean one, and will last forever if taken care of.
he's right I beat the bushes and bought a 1986 Chevy camper van with the high top complete with kitchenette shower bathroom.similar to his camper van.great video mate thanks for the video.
You are lucky Eric to have met Kevin. Looking forward to seeing you settle in to your new van with Jax. There are no bargains like this in France! We are looking for the future, we have too many animals at the moment. Good luck.
Proverbs 3:5-6 ESV Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.
Hey nice older video. I sure wish I could find something like that class B...that I could afford that is. Was just watching CVK and this popped up in the recommends. Love them babies and love Jax too.
Cool. Eric, Kevin's van is just about like mine except I have a generator inside where his sink is and my sink and stove is on the other side of the van. Instead of a deer deflector, I have a bike rack in front. Not too many deers around here to worry about. The color of his van is just like mine. I thought I was looking at my van for a moment. That was a neat surprise to see his van. Thanks for the tour.
I have a 1987 Ford Econoline E350. Has a 460, 4 bbl carb, class III hitch. Looks pretty much like Kevin's. Mine is an extended cab. I see a few around here in Prescott that are similar and in good shape. When I lived in my van for a short time while in Yuma, I didn't see any like mine. Seems like the bigger more expensive types of vans are used down there. Mine is the same or similar color as Kevin's. I'll get my channel going one of these days and show it off. It needs cosmetic work but functions great. Hope this answers your question.
Yes, it is. It has about 105,800 miles on it. I don't drive it all the time. I have had to recently but normally drive my motorcycle around the area. Mine is an E350, 460 engine, class III hitch. Looks pretty much like yours. Mine is tan. Looks very much like Campervan Kevin's.
Hey Eric enjoyed your meet up video, and we like your Ford Van, I used to have a 89 Ford High Top Conversion by Loraine and that was a Great Van, wish I had never sold it. Keep up the great travel video's... So far It's an awesome adventure...
Eric, we are new to the channel and enjoying your video adventure. Our plan is to do something similar in the nect few months. My wife loves JAX and video time with him..., and she thinks you can take your cap off especially when you are in the RV. I told her you may have some hair issues like me...mine is basically gone and you feel more comfortable wearing the cap,on camera...she say's dump the cap, you are a handsome dude and would look great without it. I say do what you want...but keep the great video's going.
That is a realy nice RV wish I would have bought a smaller one I have a class B+ just me now don't need this size anymore one like your's would work great.
I’ve been curious as to what the inside of this camper van looked like. Glad this video popped up. Interesting and quite affordable battery idea and wonder if that’s still a viable option? 🦧
Ok, I have a bumper something like that. They call it road armor. And boy it really is. Deer are a big problem here in Wild and Wonderful West Virginia and my insurance actually went down when I put a road armor bumper on my truck.
These are my favorite type of camper van. I look at them all the time on Craigslist. I love anything with the overhead cabin. I'm hoping you'll let Kevin do a full tour of the van he gave you. Would like to know how he did everything. I'll sub his channel.
I have a van just like Kevin's. You do have to be careful to drive while the wind speeds are high. Mine has a 460 engine and a class III hitch and runs great. I bought mine for about $5200 back in late 2006. I have not had major trouble with it. The transmission is in great shape. Had it flushed a year ago and no signs of metal flakes. I am not interested in selling it and have been approached 5 times in the past 7 months by people wanting to buy it. Great time to sell a vehicle when your not interested in selling.

Tell Kevin "How about a swap". He has a nice rig for the size. Have to talk more about that battery pack he has, very interesting. In the next year I want to upgrade my basic group 27 battery to the new group 31 or go with two 6 volt. But what he has seems to take up much less room than two batteries.
Kevin's van looks great! only thing I would do is put a mud flap before the grey/black water valves. Would suck to have a rock pick up with them big grippies and knock a hole or mess up the handle!

I tend to judge people by how they are to their animals. & I can tell that campervan kevin is a good dude.
Oh no, I hate my cat
He is. He now has 3 Yorkies and is battling kidney cancer. 😢

and i say thank you for helping out Eric.
The two Yorkies will be the real stars of this TH-cam Channel. I have a little Yorkie, and he's up for anything at anytime! Nice van, too.
What a nice treat to come across, two of my favorite to travel the country with! You have both come a long way!
Hey there CVK, 👋
Watching some of your older videos. This one is 9 years old! Wow! Your babies were only 1 & 3. ❤ It was fun to see Jax too. 🎉
It is a beautiful camper van. Kevin's generosity is beyond belief. What an amazing man with a van.
Eric, your older videos hold up to the test of time. Great to look back as your adventures continue. Mike

This is a great rv. I really like the battery set up. What a great job.
It’s so cool to like back and see u two guys have come a long way.
This is what I'm talking about Eric, this is a real campervan. Yours looks like a van with a bed in it.
That is exactly what he wants it to look like so he can be stealth. You know, blend in with the others so he can sleep most anywhere. Try and keep up!

To each, his own. That said, I'm not a camper van kinda' person.
Why not?
John Bushwacker basically going from Class C to Class B- converts your rig from a studio apartment on wheels to a prison cell on wheels . . . : )
John Bushwacker Personally, I prefer my commode to be bolted to the floor and not have my chin on my knees when using same...just sayin'....
Both of you have moved up in the classes.. would love to have CVK's 88 campervan.. wonder where it is today?
