100% if Thanh Le kept going, the other guy will end in the hospital. I think it was the right call.
Thanh Le would have continued to apply more devastating blows, hammer fists and elbows if the referee didn’t stop the fight. I agree, that commentator is biased, and it would have sent his buddy (buddy) to the hospital FOR SURE! Just look at end, Thanh Le’s opponent agreed to the stoppage by clapping when Thanh Le was declared the winner.

Vietnamese are tough fighters. Even the ferocious Mongols are no match for them.
Then why did he train in Korean martial arts? A Vietnamese guy told me their martial arts sucks it's called vovinam or something like that. Plus this guy is half Vietnamese half white.

@@Peter-uo9km , it is his personal preference. Vietnamese or Chinese martial arts are excellent but they are not uniformly spread across the country. Rather it is localized so if u don’t live in the region that has Vovinam, u can’t learn that style. Korean martial arts are moe universal and easily find everywhere. It doesn’t mean Korean martial art is better. You can try to find a Vietnamese guy who practice Vovinam and spar with him. I can assure u will be sorry, man!
@Justice forall Tae Kwon do is better than vovinam. Nobody uses vovinam for a reason but mma fighters do use Tae Kwon do because some of the moves are very good for real fighting.
@@Peter-uo9km , not true at all. U don’t have experience with Vovinam. Tae Kwan Do has its advantages but same with Vovinam. It’s up to your practice.

This fight was back in 2017 [LFA 3].
Bad stoppage but Lee would knock him out if the fight continued.
Then how come its a bad stoppage?
@@johnylalrina1451 cause in that particular moment the red stopped the fight the other fighter was certainly fine he was executing a submission attempt on Lee and as a professional ref you have to carefully asses the situation to avoid controversy. Lee is in control of the fight we know that but the other fighter can still defend himself.
@@heganvaldino what do you mean? You even admit the other guy would probably get koed if the fight goes longer. One of the most important job for ref is to protect the fighters. He did very good job. You make no sense st all.
@@johnylalrina1451 what am trying to say is that the ref should've wait few more seconds he didnt even warn the other fighter to stop the fight if he did not do something.
When a guy gets knocked down with a clean punch to the nose, then proceeds to get punched 12 more times in the head without defending himself, what else do you want the ref to do? Hahaha

I don't know BJJ, but can you lock arm like that and win? I never see a move like that, except for trying to stop the guy from hitting you with that arm, but the other guy still have the other arm free.
I agree with you. By the time the other guy manages to get a hold of Le's arm, the blows to his head might have melted him already. At best, it was a hail Mary.

Too much disagreement and too much bias. Maybe the referee should just let the fight go on and let one of the fighter die. Hopefully the audiences and family members will not blame the ref for not stopping the fight. Is that fair? LOL

Another bad call by another bad referee. And it was clear, not even disputable that Moffet knew what he was doing and was attempting a submission and/or position change. Thus is exactly why rulings need to be able to be overturned and the fight allowed to continue
No. He left his head open going for a sub. That's too risky not defending yourself especially when he was taking hard shots
