    Great presentation! No one else in the motorhome market has provided such a good explanation of how it works. Best, Steve & Deb from Western Mass.

    Forget AGM technology. You need lithium’s.

    How did you bank 3 x 6v and get 12v? Wouldn’t that be 18v ?

      @travisgarland840
      There are (6) total batteries. We wire 2 together in series that gives 12 volts. That process is repeated 3 times, so we now have 3 pair of 12 volt batteries. The next step is to wire the (3) 12 volt pair in parallel and that increases the Amp hours.
      Thanks

    All of this solar would be great but our deal hosed us on that. Said it was prepped for solar, but I see no connections on our Bounder.

    First off you should never drop below 50% on a Deep cycle battery of you run the risk of damaging it or shortening the life of the batteries. Using Lithium batteries is a far better and much more modern choice. Lithium also reduces the weight your rig must carry which increases the owners storage capacity for other things they must bring along. There is literally no reason why in todays market we are still using deep cycle batteries in new rigs.
    Why is there any reason to use 100w lights. A modern rig should have all LED bulbs. Anything less is a waste.
    Why only two 265W Panels? There should be options for 2-4 and maybe even more panels. Let's be far less dependent on gas/diesel/propane systems. Yes a Generator can still help if you have very cloudy days or even inclement weather. Best practice is to use as much solar as you can to reduce the dependence on fossil fuels.
    Come on Rev Group. Your supposed to be leaders not followers. You do need to show the way on this and other tech that can make our experience better.

      Agreed, 1000W solar should be dang near standard equipment along with lithium batteries. Cars are going through a major technological transition right now and RV's should be too.
