The way them drum samples switch reminds me of a oldskool track but for life of me I can't think who done it or what it's called. The sample was something like "dream man come skunker" or some shizzle like that it's bin years. If anyone knows what I mean please reply and let me know.
I do prefer the ableton stock OTT preset on the multiband compressor. It just sounds much better than xfer imo. Sidenote, OTT, whether xfer or ableton, usually causes phasing issues, sometimes its pretty bad It would be nice to see a video on multiband compression either way tho, whether theres linear phase or not. Its a very useful type of compressor
There's a really nice free OTT style compressor called "Cramit" it has an added distortion section that really takes it to the next level and it sounds a bit better than the OG OTT by XFER imo, give it a try if your looking for a new multi band tool. Also i agree a multi band comp video would be cool!
If u were spinning records in the 90s and didn’t have at least 4 of crystls records. U wasn’t playing jungle baby. Even the graffiti on the vinyl with the guy on the turntables made u wanna buy it Massive part of my record collection. Still my go too to be honest. They don’t make um like they used too. But hay. I’m 50 now. I would say that. Still got my ear to the street though. When I’m with the young ones in work. I allways ask them to play the new stuff Great video STRANJAH straight to the point. Make it look easy. Next time u speak to crystl. Give him a big hug from me. Genius
Hey Stranjah, I like to buy this Pack. I have a question, i play with this pack by a friend of mine but the samples in the pack are noisy as hell. Is this because of the analog processing?
