A really good tip for packing is to get storage vacuum bags. Rather than 2-3 pillows fitting in one bin, u can fit several bags full.

the only thing i bought doubles of are sheets and towels... she had like 3 different covers for her duvet and mattress and pillows??? time to switch up decor is one thing but MONEY is another and i know i could barely afford anything else after all my basic dorm supplies shopping

I actually have the Desert Rose quilt + sham, so my bedroom colors are the exact same as your dorm! I laughed when you said the color scheme may sound crazy but it would work because that’s exactly what I said about my bedroom theme! It for sure works and it’s super cute. You got a quilt, a throw blanket, 2 duvets, a comforter and 2 sheet sets? Where are you gonna put all this stuff?
I wash my sheets very frequently so when one is in the wash it’s always been easier for me to just put a fresh set on. I also wanted to ensure that my dorm room was a comfortable place to make me feel at home especially because I went so far away to school. I used everything mentioned in this video. if you’re concerned about where I put everything and how I used it my dorm tour would be a great video for you to watch next! (:
