Thanks Joseph, i was delighted with that magpie landing alright, it came out well. Like yourself, the long lens really helps. I’ll have to make a better attempt and get more mountain ones next year, I love seeing them up there. 👍🏻
Wonderful Eddie big thank you for your skill and patience I haven’t had much luck with deer except for a little bit of luck I found a gem by accident in Malaysia a tiny deer too scared phograph I returned every day for a week with dried fruit he loved it came closer day by day Until I got the photos what a joy turned out to be Russ or mouse deer
thanks Brendan. kudos to you and your patience, going back every day to that mouse deer. I'm not sure I'd have the level of commitment tbh, I had to google what it was, an unusual looking creature for sure.... fair play
thanks very much Dave, was great chatting to yourself yesterday also. hope I didn't delay you too much and that you didn't get too drenched as a result..
I enjoy all of your videos Eddie, but I especially enjoyed this one. I was wondering when the rut takes place? I'm presuming it's happening now, but wanted to check in case you filmed this a while back.
hi Bev, thanks very much for watching. It goes on from late September to late November. Just for reference the video clips were taken over 4 days in 3 different places. first guy was 15 October , main block was 26/27 October and the final few clips were 4th November, I've put where I got them in the description. I would have liked to catch the big stags rutting, but I think maybe I was too late, hopefully get it next year.. I think this will become an annual outing...
Magnificent animals. Thanks Eddie for sharing really lovely video.
