In UK the resin is extremely expensive. The resin I buy doesn't smell of anything. I have seen alot of American people using the masks. I'm curious do you then sell these or do you have them in your home. Great video.
Nirvana Bliss just b/c it doesn’t smell doesn’t mean it isn’t toxic. All resin is toxic until cured. Even if they claim no VOC. They are able to market it that way b/c they sell it separately. Once the resin and hardener are mixed it becomes toxic. :)

Elealeh Blue right?! I make wreaths with them and the wicker circle wreaths they have and some of the flowers I’ll bulk up by stacking them and adding a pearl bead I have a garbage bag full of flower bits lmao

You are officially the resin Queen!!!! Orchids!!!! One of the hardest flower personal opinion to resin let alone preserve. Even though they were fake you did a epic job!!!!and your make up is BOSS.
Thanks for the video!! My husband and I have been married for more than 34 years and my wedding bouquet sits in a xerox box in the basement and I would absolutely love to do something with it. I'd heard about resin with real flowers but wondered if it would work with silk flowers and after watching your video I'm really tempted to try. It's of course in one of the handheld bouquets that cascades downwards, very 80's haha and is all red and white roses. I also have the silk flowers from our oldest son's wedding that I'd love to put in resin as a memento. Thanks again for the video!! I may have my daughter-in-law help and see how things go :). Have a great one!
These both turned out better than I expected!! Just beautiful! The drawback to the smokey effect in this was that those pretty little white flowers just got lost in the smoke. I think if you steamed or spritzed the orchids with water and put them into a book you could flatten them sort of like real flowers. You couldn't get them too wet or they would mold, but the weight would flatten them. Thank you for doing this!!! I am one of the folks who asked for it!! So nice to be heard!! PS. Your eyeshadow is so beautiful!!
DUUUUDE!!! That bud off the poppy flower!!!! That would look awesome in like a whole sphere, so like a crystal ball. Just DON'T add color!!! But, I would loooove to see that! Well, I guess some gold flecks here and there but only in the resin, not on the bud it'self. Awesome work! I wish I had the space to do these sorts of things!
I love that you wear a mask and tell others to wear a mask I see so many people in videos not wearing masks and it is so mad for your health and can cause real serious medical conditions.

it seems that using faux flowers is a resin-sucker-upper. a lot of faux flowers are pretty (you chose good ones), but frankly, i like the real ones that you dry yourself so much more! not only can you flatten real flowers and make them more "resin-efficient," but the natural gorgeousness of the flowers is forever captured! i love that concept! this was a great video, and it's good to know how faux flowers can be used. thank you for this video (and i look forward to more real flower videos)! :)

I grow lilies every year and I've always wanted to try to preserve a few of them. Your videos are making me feel more comfortable about trying to use resin. I'm so glad I found your channel!
Ooh, I'll have to try this idea! Very pretty! :) I just did some resin in small heart of my 3 doxies ashes and mixed them with the resin and I put some glitter in it. They turned out so good. It's on my channel. I've been doing resin for 8 years. I've never thought of showing my work on my youtube channel. Until, now. :)

I already knew you could put in resin, but I’m honestly super surprised with how good they look. I was honestly skeptical with how it would look but I’m loving the ghosting of the pink ones and totally drawn to the poppy. Who would’ve thought.... but yea, super expensive. I only buy them on sale at micheals. lol.
For the faux orchids, $15 isn't too bad for the one stem (because they last longer than the real ones) considering the real thing at that size is around $24! Looking at faux flowers you also need to compare the price to a real flower of similar size. When I kept indoor flowers orchid's were my favorite followed by Amaryllis! Now the question for me has been answered! Thank you for sharing your experience!
This has really helped me I have some important roses my husband bought me for Valentine’s Day 2 years ago and they ended with some mould on them! Luckily the mould has been removed so I’m hoping to permanently keep them in resin!

When I do plastic flowers I don't put the flower in upside down, I sit it right side up that way. It's good to do it in layers sowhen I do flood the flower it look like it's opening or if I have to move the pedals as the resin cures, so I can make it look the way I want it open or closed.
I read somewhere...if you apply UV resin on the flower first, (to keep the petals from folding over), then cure it. Placing it in your 2 part resin, you'll have a better formed flower. This method was done on dried flowers, so I'm sure it would work for this.
Have you ever cut words out of cardstock or foil paper and lay it down on your first layer? So there's efforts words in them. Or if a wedding photo, the date on transparent paper?

Hey. Very good work! I was wondering if you could tell us where you buy your silicone forms. I also would like to know if I could possibly make my own forms in non fixed sizes. Wish you a lovely and creative week.
The orchid one is really lovely! I’m not usually a fan of the white Piñata ink, so I cringed when you started swirling it in, but in this particular instance, the effect behind the flowers was really stunning!
I started watching a couple of your vids cause I’m about to get into resin (mostly ashtrays and coaster) and I thought your energy was lit in those videos and now I see you’re a Billie fan so I know I was right😍👏🏽
I love these tutorials - but also feel like I need a makeup tutorial from you!! I would look like a kindergartener playing dress up if I tried those eyes - your makeup is always FLAWLESS and awesome! Love your videos!
Look for flowers with petals that are made from "waxy" material or plastic if you don't like the see-through effect you get when the resin absorbs into the more fabric like ones. Also some kind of sprayed coating could work to prevent the petals from getting the wet look.
OMG you should make a sun catcher of resin pieces!! like 3 small ones and one big one at the end. that would be sooo pretty with your alcohol ink explosions !
I'm only two minutes in and I can tell you that over here in Australia we have in the $2 shop they have fake flowers and also the op shop ( thrift store for the US) if you have time I would buy cheap fake flowers!!!!!
Seems she wanted to get realistic flowers. Dollar store / tree flowers are very fake - ugly looking. Her fake ones look real. Hence, why they are more money.
Well, i accidently deleted my comment in the process of writing it so here we go again 🤦♀️😂 i was about to go to sleep like 30mins ago (its almost 3am) & i remembered to search about fake flowers being used in resin & you came up. I have been looking into learning about this for about a week now & candle making, never have done either but im very crafty & love new challenges & learning new things. SO i filled up my Amazon & got my first deliveries today (well, yesterday lol). It was deff very funny & learned A LOT of what not to dos. So i got a torch like lighter (didnt get my can in today) & a heater (just like yours so you can imagine my excitement when i saw you using it lol) but i wanted to try the hot water thing first to rid of bubbles...weeeeell, it started out fine. I used a chinese soup container to mix the epoxy resin & i poured a bit into the first small mold & as i put in my dried out flowers i ordered (not even 2 or 3 mins later) i graced my pinky against the container & burnt myself...first clue that maybe it was too hot 😅🤦♀️😂 so i picked up the container to fill in the mold & BAM! Batch was solid & bubbly & there went my first batch...& it was a lot too 😭 Learned my mistake but thats how we learn things anyways, right? I ended up doing 3 small molds & theyre curently drying or curing, whatever its called, & i have no hope for one of them. The last one i did was with the bit of resin i had left & the flowers wouldnt sink no matter how many times i tried in different times, so theyre sticking out. Another lesson learned lol i used the heater afterwards but was too scared of using it for longer than 30secs in fear of melting the mixing containers that came with the boxes. I laughed pretty hard at my misses & told my bf, he found it very amusing & he surprised me by getting me a new batch of the same resin (it was two 8oz resin & hardener) so it will arrive Sat so i can continue experimenting. I loved this video so i will be deff using you as my mentor & learn plenty more & i cant wait. Im so nervous to see how these will turn out but im exicted! Now i better take my butt to bed before im up all night & miss my alarm for this home schooling we got going on for kids & get us in trouble 😂 Oh! BTW, when you mentioned that we better wear gloves or it can be messy....yeeeaaaahhhhh, i felt that. I eventually took them off when i started working on the first mold with the batch that i messed up. My hands were sooooo sticky in the end & a few hours later i shifted on my pillow as i looked thru Amazon for other things i may need & my skin ripped off my pillow....apparently i SOMEHOW got a bit on the back of my shoulder & it was sticky 🤦♀️😂😂😂 i hate gloves but never again will i be barehanded while messing with resin, i kept finding spots in random places on my arms afterwards 😂😂😂😂
Try painting each individual petal and leaf with the resin 1st and letting it dry them place them into mold. This should allow you more control over the shape and the air.
Hi, I know I'm a year late. Ha I was noticing the different stands & pedestals you had for your different pieces against the back wall. Can you mention where you got these (or if you in fact made them?) 🙂 And thank you so much for your videos ! I'm just starting out as I received a few supplies for resin crafts for Christmas ! I am loving your ideas ! And unrelated to those, I just want to say how pretty your hair & make-up is !! 😍 🙋🏻♀️
Hi I was wondering if you could help me, I’m new at this, I made a project for my husband and when I took it out of the mold there were holes on the bottom of it can you please tell me how to fix it. And what is a good topcoat to use and polish to make it shine
You make me so happy when I watch you! I am waiting on my pressed flowers, but I have no patience. I have so many faux flowers I just wanted to do it and saw that you had a video for Faux Flowers! Yaaayyy! Well I have little miniature flowers so I don't expect I would be using so much resin. And the deal is I fkd up! I poured my black base into my molds first because I didn't know wtf I was doing. So, I will try to save what I've already done by placing my faux flowers upright and the bottom layer in the mold will be the bottom of my piece. What do you think? Anywhoooo, I'm just loving you & everything about you do! You are so much fun to listen to! 😂🤗😍🐇💖💕
I love the orchid one! Orchids are my favorite flower! My dad always bought me orchids so they remind me of him and I have an orchid tattoo as well. But both pieces came out beautiful and the square one looks like ice.
This video is just in time. I’m new to resin art and was just looking up fake flowers on Amazon today. I def would’ve been mad if I had to use that much resin. I’m not ready for that lol.

great idea. with fake flowers I've discovered that those plastic parts that are like veins peel off then you can flatten them.
When I do plastic flowers I don't put the flower in upside down, I sit it right side up that way. It's good to do it in layers sowhen I do flood the flower it look like it's opening or if I have to move the pedals as the resin cures, so I can make it look the way I want it open or closed.
Also because to the petals do look thinner in the resin, I double layer the flower petals to make it look fuller.
I hope that helps

Now i better take my butt to bed before im up all night & miss my alarm for this home schooling we got going on for kids & get us in trouble 😂
Oh!
Your makeup is so pretty. That color looks great on you.
Love you channel.... Love the beautiful artwork you do with flowers and resin. Keep up the good work!
Try painting each individual petal and leaf with the resin 1st and letting it dry them place them into mold. This should allow you more control over the shape and the air.
I dont know how long I have been watching you but you make me day..lol.😃
You can pop the plastic parts apart, iron the flowers and snap the pieces back together. I use fake flowers for other crafts
Hi, I know I'm a year late. Ha I was noticing the different stands & pedestals you had for your different pieces against the back wall. Can you mention where you got these (or if you in fact made them?) 🙂
And thank you so much for your videos !
Beautiful.. thank you for showing this..
Where can I find those big molds they are awesome?!
You heat gun look small love it what kind and where to buy
Pretty and thank you for doing this video. The cost of flowers and the resin would break the bank at my house! Enjoyed the video!
Same honestly haha but I’m seeing a lot of people suggest dollar store flowers which I didn’t even think of so that’s an option! ❤️
I'm literally binge watching your channel 😍😭💯 its giving me life right now!!
You always arrange your flowers beautiful whether real or fake!
I love your ideas, your work, and how you explain!
Holy moly THICKNESS!! Love the orchid one, came out SUPER gorgeous 😍😍😍😍
LOOOOOVE your makeup in this video! Already on my 4th video of yours today. SO happy that I found your channel.
