The Vervet Forest is a wildlife documentary focused on the lives of the monkeys at the Vervet Monkey Foundation in South Africa . We join the orphaned and injured vervet monkeys in their adventure and struggles as they battle their way through the foster monkey mom program to become part of a monkey troop again. What is in the bottles that you feed them? Is it the same baby formula that's made for humans? I've heard that infant monkeys can't digest cow's milk very well.
its soya based, only cows digest cows milk very well

What does this foundation do? This is a nice change from seeing the little cuties in clothes and diapers. They get to be their natural self.
Anita is so cute - but you can feel how sad she is about losing her mom...it's good that she has little Riccardo at her side to play with

Poor baby Anita. The image of her sleeping was bittersweet. I do not believe I had ever seen an infant Vervet frown like she did after waking.
Omg this cuteness is something. I love monkeys but they have multiple personalities. It's definitely sad to see baby from mom. And mom dead. Wow heartbreaking 💔.
Riccardo has grown and looks he is ready to move on. Little Anita is so tiny and cute. She seemed like she could handle Ricardo tho. Thanks for all you do for these little ones.❤
Riccardo really has the hang of the feeding cage❤ and is challenging Anita to get her playface on! Nice for her to have a big brother to learn from.
Anita is such a little sweetheart, it will be an absolute delight to follow her progress as she finds her foster mother.

The light down there in the early evening is beautiful. We used to get a similar quality of sunlight up here in the Pacific Northwest , U.S. at least in late summer, but we just don’t anymore. That light that is referred to as “the golden hour” by people in the film business. Not sure what they call it now ? Because it doesn’t happen anymore.

I think over their they are considered pests. Farmers especially don't like them. Hard for us to understand.
My son drunk out of those bottles he was born at 28 wks and had to teach him how to suck a bottle. He’s 19 now is doing wonderfully
Anita is doing so well considering. She seems like she’s becoming happier since her arrival.
I have always wanted to volunteer to help the babies. But at this time we are financially strained but is an ultimate goal of mine.

Never cease to make me 😁 on my face, and in my ❤️ I know babies sleep a lot, but I think some of it, besides exhaustion, that Anita was depressed at first.
She looked like a Monkey Queen with blankie on her head, and scratching her head. 😂 Ricardo he's so playful, loved how he jumped across the bed🤣❣️ He's a Sweetie tho, knew Anita needed that hug, and reassurance that everything is gonna be alright baby girl❤

Awe, little Miss Anita is an itty bitty little lady❤. Poor pumpkin, you could see how sad she was when you picked her up😢. She also wasn't quite sure if she liked the milk, LOL. She made the best face,😂! Im happy that she is at the VMF and has a second chance to have a life full of love, and a Furever home❤❤❤!!!
