Excellent, well executed game for the Dodgers. Kershaw was great, Mookie was great, Belli had a bomb. Yet at the same time, I see the Rays and they play hard and smart, but after one game, they just look totally outclassed - the Dodgers have Cody Bellinger hitting 6th, while the Rays have guys like Renfroe and Margot hitting 4th and 5th - I remember seeing Renfroe and Margot as part of those sorry ass San Diego Padres lineups (before they got Tatis Jr of course) that Kershaw always used to pad his W-L and ERA stats on and end up getting swallowed by the Dodgers in those meaningless random night games at 7:00 PM in August 5th or so while they were in the middle of dominating NL West during the regular season for the 43rd consecutive time. At times, it didn't even seem like the Rays belonged on the same field as the Dodgers. Its funny because the Rays and Dodgers were built similarly - finding good talent in the draft, identifying guys that other teams don't want and making something useful out of them, using the most up to date analytics (I mean, Andrew Friedman built them both), but the one difference is that the Dodgers have a virtually unlimited budget and the Rays don't.
Dodgers seemed really above and confident in this game... Nice job by the pitchers and nice support from the whole team. Thanks, this time again, for showing Betts and Adames' hug and chat, it's great to see top players being normal and friendly on the field!

Can’t watch any other highlights now. Feels like I’ve seen the whole game. Not having a dog in this fight it’s nice to be able to drop in and catch a good ball game, and feel like I know what’s going on. Thanks.
