Holy crap. "OMG BBG!" that intro brought back memories. Its been a while since Ive visited your channel and I'm glad you guys still do content! Time to get back into this world of beyblade
I went up against a dragoon elevate bit combo, don’t remember the ratchet, but it self bursted and that helped me win the match. I figured it would do that in the video
I've been a fan since the burst series I didn't even know the parts all i know was valt and shu and their beys. And the channel i would always watch was this. Now that we're in x ive been following this gen until i stopped but i started to come back because of watching the anime and you guys. Thank you beyblade geeks for being there through every thing every gen. Thank you.
Idk, while performance varies I don’t know if that means it’s subjective. I think 90% of bladers can agree wizard rod is a great blade while dranzer is not. Although some may disagree, that doesn’t change the fact that in almost every documented case, wizard rod outperforms a lot of other blades.
As soon as I got my Whale wave the first thing I thought of after i launched it was how it would do on a spin stealer. I don’t really like the bit as it’s attack and stamina are pretty mid compared to other bits, however the LAD is the best of any bit we currently have available.
Plz keep this series and if end up running out of s tier combos plz start a 3vs 3 deck battle series where you both put your 3 best combos against each week on a Friday
Tyranno was real quiet about Dragoon 1-60E until it started bursting more in the DOUBLE Xtreme stadium and then all of a sudden he's not that big of a fan xD
I haven't touched a bey since metal series ended, but recently joined a club near my university that has weekly beybattles. What better way to revive this passion than with BBG? Definitely gonna catch up with your content!
I believe I heard some rumblings that 2-60 might actually be decent on Shark Edge. I'm curious Samauri Saber had any combos that are popular/S- tier (potential)
I think the issue with the Dragoon combo is more of the ratchet. The one glaring and obvious protruding point is going to make bursting so easily. I think 5-60 or 9-60 would be better on it.
Well there are some reasons why 1-60 is the go to rachet for this dragoon combo, competitively speaking ; 1. 1-60 actually have, on average, a better burst resistance than other rachet. 2. Since tournaments are usually 3G, most of the time you want to use 9-60 on a more aggresive bey and 5-60 on wizard rod. 3. people found out that you can slightly "mitigate" dragoon's unbalanced weight distribution with 1-60, and turns out it has a slightly above average stamina compared with other rachets. 4. Opposite-spin matchups usually have less recoil, which slightly increases burst resistance. 5. Elevate often self-burst on hard launch, so it's better to soft launch it and treat the bey more as a spin-stealing stamina bey. 6. lastly this combo is mainly used as a counter to wizard rod since it has a good winrate against it and can outspin wizard rod with a combination of spin-steal and long LAD.
CDE is a very strong combo. eats rod for breakfast. stamina types shit their pants in front of CDE. the only real counter to it are strong attack types.
Suggestion: try 1-80/2-70 on the Cobalt Dragoon combo. 1-80 gives the same attack potential as 1-60, but gives a more exposed ratchet due to the height. While usually a problem dye to a hugher burst chance, for a left spin like Dragoon, it helps with Spin Stealing instead. 2-70 gives a lower attack, but increases the spin steal chance. I've tested this combo out and its pretty reliable.
Definitely a nail biter 😅. My reasoning was Tyranno having more ways to win, or at least better burst potential. And maybe I share the same feelings about Elevate, it's good but maybe not the most 110% reliable bit, especially in a World Championship 😅
Zane secured the Asia Championship crown with this Cobalt Dragoon combo! It's definitely solid, but which combo do you like more?
Zane vs por was bs
@@superiorfafnir2391The judge was eyeballing at a place where you couldn’t see the pocket, and arguing with the judge results in a DQ
@@shinylugia yeah but they shouldve reviewed the footage
@ They didn’t for any others
@@shinylugia well the other battle were okay the zane vs por was the most controversial

I think the Tyranno Beat layer is great at defense as well. It’s nice and heavy!
It's great on 70-80 height and Hexa

Agreed but that’s only the case for a select few parts or combos

They did a custom video a while ago and i love it i wish they did more
Thank you for the combo videos
I love these meta videos. More, please!
It’s cool to see the potential of parts that were limited by their stock combo
Just a heads up: In your points display, you called Cobalt Dragoon “Cobalt Drake”
I love elevate so much!
right before my national quali tomorrow! Thanks for this!
I need to try these!
Wizard Rod just quietly doing its own thing while still being the king 🗿
Tyranno was real quiet about Dragoon 1-60E until it started bursting more in the DOUBLE Xtreme stadium and then all of a sudden he's not that big of a fan xD
I believe the Tyranno Beat combo will absolutely slam against opponents, definitely a interesting combination that I have to try out .😁
Keep up these combo vids!
Tyranny is such an awesome blade. Literally good for anything
I did expect Tyranno to win, but that was so close between them.
Bro i expected Tyranno Beat to Beat Cobalt Dragoon on that level
Same
This video is good
More s tier combos pleaseeeee
Insano as batalhas!!
I haven't touched a bey since metal series ended, but recently joined a club near my university that has weekly beybattles. What better way to revive this passion than with BBG? Definitely gonna catch up with your content!
I didn't even think about the possibility of Elevate having good LAD, now I HAVE to grab one lol
I believe I heard some rumblings that 2-60 might actually be decent on Shark Edge. I'm curious Samauri Saber had any combos that are popular/S- tier (potential)

Wanna hear a S-Tier combo? Shinobi Shadow 7-70 Quake frfr
Please do these:
hells scythe 3-60GP
Unicorn Sting 3-60R
Its a good btw i want beyblades x gen for critsmas and stiuams too😊😊
And lounchers
this is why I added tyrano on my deck, to counter that stupid dragoon elevator

Cobalt Dragoon definetly
Try Glide on Cobalt Dragoon. Still great defense but less self bursting
I’d really like to see a beyblade x battle in a bb-10 or one of those old Hasbro metal fight stadiums lmao
Imagine if they turned Elevate into an attack bit?
Anyone else notice how they have yet to do an aero pegasus vs lightning L drago video.
My boy tyranno got this one
Yeah Elevate's burst resistance doesn't feel great which is why I prefer a more stamina build with 9-60
Will takara tomy keep manufacturing old beyblades (especially Burst) or will they stop?
Cobalt Dragoon on Elevate is the king of equalization.
I like it
pls do whale wave 9-60 LF next
CDE is a very strong combo. eats rod for breakfast. stamina types shit their pants in front of CDE. the only real counter to it are strong attack types.
You wrote Cobalt Drake instead of Cobalt Dragoon
try wizard rod 5-60 flat or gear flat
Cobalt Dragoon seems stadium dependent it seems
cobalt 160 rush is good too
I assume Tyranno Beat
TB 470 TP :3
Dont you miss the old beyblade
I was to late to spawn camp
