Nice sound, I have Arrow 2 into 2 on mine with gutted db killers but find they have a little raspier tone than I like. I would consider these and Norman Hyde Classics for the correct sound. Interesting comment on he flyscreen. I am experiencing lots of wind buffeting and will remove flyscreen to compare. I do not recall all my previous naked being as bad.
i've actually switched to a different upper yoke (an earlier thruxton, the silver one) and installed clips on on mine, lowered the headlight, the wind buffeting is virtually gone
I'm looking into getting a pair of GC mufflers like yours or BC Predators. Did you add a air box removal kit and fuel injection removal kit on your Thruxton? Also who did your mapping on your bike?
Get a map from TTP, they sorted out my fueling issues, bike runs awesome now. Remove snorkle, install breathe airbox cover, DNA filter, remove airbox baffle, remove AI and O2 sensors.
How loud would you compare this exhaust to a harley's? I ride with guys who have them and with a thruxton i cant even hear my own exhaust and have to shift by vibration. How would you rate them against it? or compare them to D&Ds?
The bigger problem regarding keys on the Triumph Thruxton is where the ignition switch is. The threat there is that someone in another traffic lane could snatch the key when you aren't looking.
i've actually since this video changed the upper fork with an older thruxton and relocated the key to a lay flat bracket on the top, where it shoulda been in the first place
i actually noticed yesterday while riding on the highway yesterday that when i tuck my head down, i feel like more wind is directed at my face, but in normal riding position i don't feel much wind
wenger828 My thruxton came without a flyscreen. I bought a dart flyscreen and found that it made more wind noise when I crouch down. So I removed it and am happier. I would be tempted with the black and gold flyscreen if this wasn't also the case but it sounds like it is, so will stay without one for now. Thanks for the info!
Captain Rambunctious yeah, i definitely agree, you would assume with the screen up there'd be less but i def noticed it with my open face helmet. i'm going to be removing mine soon anyways and dropping the headlight & gauges so we'll see
How much louder are these than the Arrows?

anyone have first hand experience with how these compare to predators, dominator sport, or d&d's?

+Kevin Serna not nearly as loud as my harley, but def able to hear it even with other loud bikes around me.
OMFG these look and sound great!! As for highway riding do you think they drone a little much or is it not too bad?
What mapping did you use with the mufflers?
What style mirrors do you have? Been trying to find them for my Triumph. Thanks!
Great sound, a bit similar to the Norman Hydes I've added to my Thruxton.
Aren't you worried all those keys will leave scratches?

good idea.
Lovely sound and I like your camera angles!
Do you find the flyscreen gives weird wind noise when tucked down?
