That's a fair preference to have. I'll point out my approach was more a response to the campaign maps which have the *opposite* problem; too generous with tech progression too early, which ends up skipping multiple entire economy phases. I intentionally aimed for progress pacing, such as ~10 minutes of pre-tungsten gameplay, then 15-20 minutes further until getting to thorium.

Beautiful map. I'm not a big fan of the beryllium and tungsten starvation that seem to be a feature of most erekir maps though

I do wish the campaign had some story behind the sectors, but at least the mod developers put some lore and story in tech descriptions.
