Scott, not to go too off color, but if you walk around the mall with a sign about loving tailwind, all the normies are going to think you're into some funky stuff.
I just don’t personally need or want a css dsl. The shorthand’s don’t add much value to me when I have already memorized all of the real css properties, I don’t want to memorize a whole second set of shorthand - Scott
Totally. I get that for a lot of people the best part about it is the system of it all, but I’m often using other systems that are just css var based, so I don’t get much value out of the tw system. Also it’s not that memorizing the css properties is hard, but I already know them and don’t want to learn a new shorthand. I get the appeal totally, just for me isn’t how I like to work, because I do similar system work, just with different tools.
@@syntaxfm That's fair, its just when you mentioned knowing css properties, a lot of people have this misconception that it's for people who don't know real CSS which is annoying and inaccurate. And for FWIW 4.0 now uses CSS vars for its config rather than a js file which I think you might find is closer to how you work, so I think the timing is good for you at least in that way. I Would love to see your reactions to their chances at least.

@@syntaxfm Yeah it has nothing to do with memorizing css properties or not. I know all the CSS properties too its still more convenient.
