Why doesn't the military have lockers on their wheeled vehicles. Like the half-track that got stuck. There was a point where the left tire was barely turning. Maybe the newer vehicles have them now. But I was just wondering. I mean when they're on the battlefield, wouldn't there be times when you would need to positively lock all wheels together for maximum traction? Especially in a life or death situation.
Kevin Benecke differentials have come along way. You're talking about 40s vehicles. They may have had manual looking hubs, but they could have been very worn.
